Die Hard

Christmas Vacation is the best comedy for Christmas though.

I've always liked Home Alone. I also enjoyed A Christmas Story. That was the one with the BB rifle, right?

Christmas season doesn't start until after Thanksgiving!

But anyway, my favorite is It's a Wonderful Life.

No love for The Nightmare Before Christmas? Between that, Die Hard, and The Life of Brian, I'm always in a pretty good mood that time of year.

We always watched the George C. Scott version of A Christmas Carol when I was a kid, though that's fallen by the wayside as we've all gotten older.

I don't regard Christmas as a special time for movies, but my favourite Christmas-themed movies are Die Hard and The Long Kiss Goodnight.
As for comedy, I like Scrooged.

White Christmas from 1954. Star studded cast and the most beautiful set I've ever seen. I watch it at least 4 times a year (season doesn't matter).

The Grinch (the live action one). Nothing else hold s a candle to it, except maybe Arthur Christmas.
