Well, from the looks of things in the later chapters, the Simurgh imprinted on Tattletale, so she might have the Simurgh as her ace in the hole if I'm right about all this. Teacher's got Khonsu for sure, so we can look forwards to that at some point for sure.

It's more like, Dodge gets subjected to a bunch of really horrifying bullshit that makes everyone stand and stare in horror while the people who need to get out of dodge get super paranoid that the simurgh is leering at them and decide to run away while everyone is distracted.

This being said, we need more Simurgh-cultist Tattletales.

It's a pity that the Fallen are basically just run of the mill rednecks who have a thing for Endbringers. Proper cultists going all the way would be more interesting (and a better fit for Tattletale).
