Ditto. I don't think it will be completely devoid of consequences, but the snap is obviously getting undone.

I'd like it even more if they let it stick. Seems like the appeal of a film universe is that you can have real consequences, but they're throwing that away.

There are real consequences. While Endgame is going to somehow undo the snap, there are consequences for undoing it that will be met upon the exit of some existing avengers. With Captain America and Tony Stark at minimum on that list. I would not be surprised if Thor is gone too after Endgame.

Why in the world would they kill off Thor right after rebooting his image and giving him a new hammer?

I haven't heard anything about him leaving, but his contract is up after Avengers 4. And by then, he'd have been playing the guy for over a decade. People eventually wanna move on.

As far as I know, Uncle Ben is the only one who has never come back to life (outside of Marvel Zombies, but that doesn't really count).

Does the universe where Uncle Ben doesn't die count in this? I didn't know that Batmans' parents came back to life though.

I get the feeling that maybe he’s working with Hydro Man and Sand Man, or maybe they really do exist but he’s using his illusion powers to frame them.

Or something. I’m hoping it’s not that simple a plot.

The Elementals. So it's Hydron, Hellfire, Magnum, and Zephr.

But also, it's Mysterio, so it's also likely bullshit.

He was in the Sinister Six, I didn't know that was a spoiler. He was the one who tricked Logan into killing all the X-Men in the Old Man Logan storyline in the comics.

I'm not very invested in most of the comics, save for some Spider-Man and Daredevil storylines. Now I'm sad. :(

That's not at all what I'm saying. I'm just surprised and confused. I've never read a single Spider-Man comic, and I still know who Mysterio is because he appears in almost every form of secondary media, notably the cartoon shows, which is where I learned of him.

Ah, apologies then. Yes, the movies are my only exposure to Spider-Man, and only now am I actually finding some limited time to read up on some Spider-Man comics (Edge of the Spider-Verse is currently on my to-read list thanks to the single greatest superhero movie of all time Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse). The channels I watched on TV all only had Justice League cartoons, not Marvel ones.
