I know that part, it’s just the “you now own part of the moon” aspect of it. I’m going to have a password that says I “ own” a thing that’s not really a thing that is otherwise materially available to everyone that the only party I control is the password that says I own it, which seems dumb. But at least I don’t have to hold a special edition comic throughout the movie fooling myself into thinking I’ll read it.

I think, if I wanted them to be in it, I wouldn't want to know this. However, I don't want them to be in it, so therefore my hype can be tempered by knowing it. When we know it, I mean. This is obviously not reliable.

I'm pretty agnostic. It wouldn't be the strangest thing in the world if he was hiding the secret. However, as far as the story has been presented in the trailers without leaks or spoilers or theories, it's a pretty solid story with just the one Spider-man and it seems like it would complicate it by including the other Spider-mans. I'll more or less assume it's Mephisto or Hulk in Wakanda until I see it. I'll be excited if they show up and it's well done, I won't be disappointed if they don't. Without them seems like the better story, with them kinda feels like it'll end up like Ghostbusters Afterlife where it kind of devolves into "remember this? How about this? Remember how cool that was? How about this cameo, neat, huh?"

Ultimately I prefer these experiences to be like Luke in the Mandalorian or Kang in Loki. Or you know who in Hawkeye, maybe. That's way more exciting than knowing ahead of time. I'm sure I've made the shaking the present box analogy. Which is also why if I thought this was actual evidence I might not have posted it, but this is pretty suspect at best, so I thought it was kind of amusing.

Unfortunately, I suspect they're right and they are in it. This is the exactly the kind of cheap and cynical nostalgia manipulation people have spent the past half decade lamenting in thinkpieces but spending billions to watch.

So I didn't get to see Eternals over Thanksgiving break like I had planned because I screwed up and looked at the showtimes on Fandango instead of on the movie theater's website and I've not been able to reschedule with my friend, so it looks like I'm gonna have to wait for it to be released on Disney+.

I also have not had the chance to watch Hawkeye because finals are coming up and I've been busy.

Hopefully when NWH comes out I'll be able to see it because I am really hyped for that one.

Though I very much want them to be in the movie, I won't get mad if they aren't and will just enjoy the movie as it is. Besides, if you'd said there would be a Spider-man movie with Dr Strange, Doc Ock, Goblin, Sand-man, Lizard and Electro from the previous movies 5 years ago, people wouldn't believe you.
