She (probably) is trying to harness the power of the TVA because she had the same revelation that our Loki had...'holy crap, Infinity Stones are junk drawer objects to these people? I gotta have some of that power..."

I wonder if they're collecting them to try and "reset" the Sacred Timeline in an effort to change the future it has laid out for them

if she's really the villain, we need a better name than Lady Loki. Gotta give the Shippers something to work with.

I bet I could find at least 5 pre-show Loki-cest fanfics on Ao3 in less than a minute. Never underestimate the shipper desire to ship.

I find myself wondering...
These series have been tweaking who exactly is the villain and hero. In WandaVision Wanda was the villain and there were three 'good guys' with increasingly bad plans. (Agatha wasn't wrong, Wanda was demonstrably irresponsible with her powers.) In Falcon and the Winter Soldier even Zemo had a point and it even bore out narratively, the super soldier serum did affect Walker. Through Sam's example (like a true Captain America) he got his groove back a little. Even the nominal bad guy, the beuacracy of the repatriation wasn't bad a much as it was inefficient. Already, obviously, Loki is being presented as the good guy but the god of mischief does love to lie as Mobius said. It could turn out all twisty. The TVA could have been taken over by the post TVA whats therenut...Time Twisters that ended up going backwards in time messin' stuff up instead of taking the lessons of this multiverse to the next. There are bound to be a few twists and turns and Mephisto sightings.

Lolokiki?

Genuinely it does depend on the fandom/site standards and tagging methods. Some don't even use the names, Pokemon being a good example, like AdvanceShipping (Ash/May), RocketShipping (Jessie/James), etc.

According to the Shipping Fandom wiki section on Loki, the ship name for Loki/Natasha is "Black Frost", so I assume it would be something similar.
"Frost" seems to be the common thread for Loki, so I would guess it would be that and an appropriate synonym for frost.

This is the first chance I've had to watch Loki. So far I love the show!

The TVA's bureaucracy is ridiculous. I mean, I can see why they would be that way given that they're dealing with people who screw up the timeline, but still. Though I must admit, their facilities are super cool looking.

Definitely gonna connect to the Multiverse of Madness somehow. I mean, they almost said the title in the show.

Loki hunting Loki? That'll be interesting.

I laughed super hard when Loki kept teleporting that TVA soldier. I also laughed when Mobius played the scene that revealed that Loki was D. B. Cooper. And the fact that Loki, a literal god, initially scoffs at the idea of the Time-Keepers.

Not sure if I have any other thoughts at this time. Can't wait until the next episode!

I don’t disagree with most of this, except with Agatha being a good guy. She isn’t wrong about irresponsibility, but she sure as hel didn’t give any indication of any plans of actually planning to do anything good with said power (either in what she said, or how she acted while trying to gain it/immediately after she got it.

Or, now that I think of it, that Hayward was particularly good either - again, not, but also not demonstrating that he has good plans for the future (he literally accuses Wanda of doing what he had been trying to do, literally days after trying to get her to do it).

Notes for Loki from comics stuff:
The Infinity Stone thing isn’t honestly that big a show of power in itself - the comics versions are universe locked, so all that this requires is for the TVA to be headquartered outside the universe (pretty standard for time agencies).

The Time Keepers however in the comics are constantly at war with their evil counterparts, to ensure the timeline that they respectively came from is the one that remains. I suspect that the Sacred Timeline for this TVA is similar.

The MCU either explicitly isn't doing that, though, or doesn't use time travel induced multiverses... see: the entire premise of Endgame.

The MCU makes much more sense if Loki's conclusion is taken at face value. But, honestly, he should've learnt... note Hela's reaction to the Tesseract. Sure, she says it's
"not bad" but then immediately goes on to talk about "true power". Similarly, Ego... on the face of it, gathering the Infinity Stones would let him do what he wants to do. Anyone with true power in the MCU hasn't really cared about infinity stones.

Loki’s conclusion is still eminently reasonable even under my speculation however, just for different reasons (ie, they operate from not the universe instead of undoing their power with tech or something). I should clarify that I strictly meant that nerfing the stones isn’t that big a show of power by itself, even if the overall reason is. Endgame alt-verses are entirely consistent with this I think - they still seem to be treated as the same universe (and the TVA seems to do so as well), just branches off the defined Sacred Timeline. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is an actual multiverse as it usually is beyond the odd one the Time Keepers dislike.

Though admittedly, time travel stuff makes it entirely possible that they do dislike the comics multiverse as such - and thus that is doesn’t “presently” exist but will retroactively have always existed by the end of the show. Or something.

I find it very difficult to believe that the TVA allows the existence of a multiverse. It seems to me their entire purpose is to prune branches:

Long ago, there was a vast multiversal war. Countless unique timelines battled each other for supremacy, nearly resulting in the total destruction of, well, everything. [...] reorganising the multiverse into a single timeline, the sacred timeline.

And I find it even harder to believe that this allows for a time travel created multiverse, though, admittedly, it's very unclear how nexus events are created.

Of course, there's a low probability that the TVA are good actors. I mean, the video is even produced by the TVA Narrative Commission which suggests it's going to be revealed as nothing more than propaganda.

My thinking is basically that they use multiverse to mean a whole bush of timelines, and that the regular Marvel multiverse is something separate. Basically, that they control the multiverse is quasi-propaganda and they only have this one universe (and all its myriad possibilities, of course).

My thinking is basically that they use multiverse to mean a whole bush of timelines, and that the regular Marvel multiverse is something separate. Basically, that they control the multiverse is quasi-propaganda and they only have this one universe (and all its myriad possibilities, of course).
Maybe not really propaganda, for all we know they don't know about the entire multiverse but just their own timeline wit all the branches. Isn't this what DC calls the Omniverse?

So... The Doctor ( Who) is known in the Marvel comics universe.

Would it not be nice if Loki introduces a timetravelling criminal with a blue box into the MCU ?

Getting an education was a bit like a communicable sexual disease.
It made you unsuitable for a lot of jobs and then you had the urge to pass it on.

I mean, them only knowing about their own timeline and branches is what I’m suggesting - I understand DC’s omniverse concept to be rather bigger (ie, every possible and impossible universe, and etc)

I agree with you, I just think that it's less propaganda and more ignorance on their part but maybe we'll know more later on in the show.
