Surprisingly agree, for lack of interest in the character
Because sometimes even national leaders just want to hang out

Really?
It seems like a Doctor Who rip off but without Chibnall so good (plus the whole TVA prisoner thing, but we'll just say it's a series that focusses on the Time Lords but, again, no Chibnall).

Really. One, I was never super high on Loki as a villain anyway. And two, this isn't even the Loki with all the character development. This is smary, 2012 version Loki. And his routine is gonna get old quick.

Thor!Loki was smarmy. Avengers!Loki was fun. Ragnarok!Loki was best Loki. So, I mean, still not the best version of Loki but he's probably not going to be the villain (WandaVision has shown us that the MCU lacks guts to follow through on a concept that divergent from what it usually does)... I guess the best comparison would probably be Missy with elements of drums in his head Master (I think that was the Simm version? Can't remember), though I don't recall if you liked either of those takes on the Master anyway.

Do my eyes deceive me or is that footage from The Eternals?
Also, titles for Black Panther (WAKANDA FOREVER!...with Boseman gone that's a pretty good title) and Captain Marvel 2 (The Marvels...I mean we have two Captain Marvels and a Ms Marvel...I guess that's what they'll be going with. Just based on the name)
Thought for a brief second that we'd get Spidey footage, but that would be a bit much. I don't even know if they've wrapped filming yet. Probably not.
EDIT: Also, I dig all the release dates, Fantastic 4...we'll get to it.

Exactly. I hate politics being forced into shows I watch, which is basically Goddamn everything these days. And this show was about as nuanced with it as a cow mallet to the skull. That cornball speech he gave after Carly died. Christ, talk about a faceplant of a show.
"Stop calling them terrorists" when she had been performing actions that are the literal definition of terrorism. Jesus...

We have two Captain Marvels? Since it looks like Monica jumped right over that into her Spectrum powerset.

I don't know that they're going to be super rigid about that, or even really call her Captain Marvel. But they do seem to be playing up the idea that there's going to be multiples of the people who use "Marvel" in their name. I mean, look...I'm just wildly guessing on a title in an announcement video. I don't know what they're gonna do.

The point was that the label terrorist is just used to abrogate responsibility for the argument. It's really no different to Hamas or the IRA or Al Qaeda... terrorists are all kinds of wrong but the only time anyone's ever bothered to consider the underlying grievances of the terrorists I can think of is the fucking IRA where, frankly, it seemed Americans were for the terrorists. It's probably not a coincidence that the IRA were, for all intents and purposes, defeated because they quit.

Oh, well...that actually kind of explains it.
Yeah, comics are and have always been pretty fucking political. Especially Captain America.
I mean, listen to what Stan says in that 'celebrate the movies' video.

Well, the IRA were fighting the British. Which is basically something anyone can get behind...like seriously, every country out there has had beef with them at one point or another. What happens when you colonize half the globe. And hey, it inspired some great diss tracks.Forsher wrote:

The fact they handled politics at all is the issue.
