Aside from trailers:

  • Secret Invasion show... featuring Talos and Fury and Skrull sects (so likely it'll hew close to the comics with its religious mission). Also, Feige called Secret Invasion and CIvil War the biggest crossovers of the last twenty years which is... interesting.
  • Ironheart show
  • Armour Wars show... featuring Rhodey and Iron Man technology in the wrong hands
  • Christian Bale is playing Gorr the God Butcher, not fan speculation favourite Dario Agger... not good news for Thor Odinson's prospects of surviving the movie, I imagine (if it's inspired by the God Bomb storyline, I imagine Jane and Valkyrie will sub in for Thor's granddaughters)
  • Moon Knight will feature Dissociative Identity Disorder and Egyptian iconography in an Indiana Jones style adventure
  • Kevin Feige labelled Kate Bishop as another archer rather than Hawkeye
  • Ms Marvel will be in Captain Marvel 2 in line with speculation
  • She-Hulk will star Tatiana Maslany, will tie in with TIH via at least the Abomination (Tim Roth), will include Mark Ruffalo and is likely to feature appearances from other Marvel superheroes
  • No recast for T'Challa
  • Mordo and Christine will be in DSMOM + America Chavez (it will also connect with Spidey 33 but not sure how much) and it seems like it'll be closely integrated with the WandaVision storyline
  • Loki will be a crime thriller... the trailer doesn't make that clear imo, which is why I mention it here
  • Some GOTG specials (I Am Groot and a Holiday Special, the latter will be written/directed by Gunn)
  • Jon Watts to helm a Fantastic Four storyline... weren't there rumours of his vision for it? Or was that Peyton Reed?
  • Ant Man 3 is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania... featuring another recast of Cassie Lang but otherwise the Pym family and Scott are back

I have a good title for the next Avengers movie; Avengers: Post-Mortem.

Well, the WandaVision trailer throws a few of my assumptions in a bit of a loop.

Of the four, the Loki trailer actually hypes me the most since it was the one I was least hyped about. But that looks fun as hell.

I dig the Falcon & Winter Soldier but that trailer was kind of neutral, didn’t really increase much, action sequences.

Kind of dig Ms Marvel, but I only know her through Secret Warriors so I don’t know how hype I am yet and this was more just ‘we’re doing it.’

Civil War II sucks but in the context of the original Champions run and Kamala's origin story it's actually kind of interesting. I've fallen out of the loop with Kamala a lot since then.

I'm sorry, I think the most important piece of news here is that Chris Evans will be the New Buzz Lightyear.

He is a good actor but I think Patrick Warburton is a better fit for Buzz Lightyear

I thought you were a fan of Mephisto but since we're talking about Hell anyway: That's not a saint in the window right?

That’s an interesting catch...

So it turns out that DB Cooper was Loki all along?

Apparently the guys at Pixar aren't big fans of the TV show.

The theory is that Buzz (voiced by Tim Allen) is the toy of the live action movie (as in, within the Toy Story universe, the film is live action) where Buzz was played (voiced) by Chris Evans. And then if you want to include the show... it's a spinoff from the movie made to promote the toy where they (as in real life) they didn't get the original actor back so they hired a replacement.

Or something like that.

Also looks like Loki pissing around with the Time Variance Authority is going to be the general premise of the show.

Perhaps policing other versions of Loki...

Truth be told, Loki is the show I'm least interested in. I kind of got tired of his "I'm a smarmy evil guy" shtick after a few movies. Feels like it's gonna get old fast with him as the lead.

I, for one, can not get tired of Tom Hiddleston's performance.

All the Easter eggs and actiony bits in that trailer and my most watched part is the expression he has in his ‘vote Loki’ get up and the henchmen turn on him.

since there's no DCCU thread, I'll just say that WW84 was pretty meh.

but then it stuck the ending with Lynda Carter in the post credits.

There is actually a DC thread here somewhere, it's just never used.

Re:Wonder Woman (and given how little goes on with the DCEU, this should just be the superhero movie thread):

So...just fuck the guy who’s body Steve is stealing?

We should abandon this thread... its OP is way too inactive in thread. Maybe the new one would be better served as a superhero thread but then I might have to read about a whole bunch of CW shows so perhaps we'll just settle for the MCU, DCEU and Sony films...

...We're not abandoning a perfectly fine and active thread because the OP doesn't post much.

How long have we had that poll? This is basically the only thread of its kind that doesn't respond, at all, to current events. And why? Because the OP doesn't care. But there are alternatives... I think the mods could delete posts on page one until we got to someone on it that wanted to be OP. Or, maybe, something like what is proposed here.
