I'm on board for keeping Spider-verse separate, keep it as its own thing rather than something that inevitably be overshadowed in the MCU.

(except for easter eggs of course, maybe a cameo for full multi-verse shenanigans)

Your dishonesty appears to know no bounds.

The problem is your lying and misrepresentations of my posts. This does not become any less trivial or more serious if we're talking about comic books than, say, parliamentary sovereignty. Why? Because the problem is the lying and the misrepresentation... not that we disagree over, say, whether or not a character is "A List".

I know what correcting people is. I do it way too much. You got pu in their virtual face and were screaming at them, which is known as attacking and harassing someone.

Yeah, no. Screaming at people in a text medium has a well known form called "all caps".

You don't need to use all caps to virtually scream at someone, but we are currently threadjacking, so let's get this back on track.

You don't have to. But you do need to something other than write sentences with no bolding, italicising, exclamation points, no images, no colour, no underlining or anything else.

Swearing is not screaming.

Don't be so hyperbolic. And if you don't want to talk about this stuff, don't bring it up. Don't intervene in a conversation that's got nothing to do with you and then turn around and go "it's a threadjack". You made the threadjack. That's on you.

Cannot think of a name wrote:Well, I think that’s what’s on everyone’s wishlist. But that story is best as a surprise, but once you’re filming stunt doubles and different costumes that will leak eventually. It wouldn’t ruin it, really, if that’s the way they want to go. We’ll have to see...obviously, I guess. THat’s a meaningless statement.

I’m more team no Spider-verse only because Into the Spider-verse was so beautiful. I kind of want that to remain separate, like, good job Sony. Mostly animated Marvel kind of sucks but this was beautiful. You keep doing these and let Marvel do the live action stuff and you both still get to drive truck loads of money to the bank.

They don’t likely see it that way.

True, plus we have the sequel of ITSV in 2022 so I think they should purposely leak some license plate numbers because the director loves to use license plate easter eggs. That'd be a smart move in my opinion. I don't think that Spiderman should leave the MCU because it's such a prolific franchise. Although we do have Spiderman in Marvel for at least another SM and Avengers movie, I really hope the deal falls through again if Sony makes another offer after the agreement is up.

It’s starting to seem like Spider-man and the Sony live action Spider-verse is inching towards a sort of connection kind of similar to how the Marvel Entertainment properties were but weren’t. They’re going to share some characters that are on the Spider roster and hint at each other but not interact really.

Which will be tricky if they hit a Thanos level event where half of everybody vanishes or something, but since the future is multiverse they have an out now.

OR...they’ll follow DCEU’s example of making everything canon. In the DCEU, every live action thing they’ve done down to Richard Donner’s Super-man is canon now, part of the multiverse. I guess even Louis and Clark, though I haven’t seen them draw that line. But at that big DC virtual event they made it clear that the way the DCEU multiverse works is how it was established in the Crisis on Infinite Earths, everything is on the table and even though Oliver said he fused the worlds the footage right after that made it clear he made separate universe for Titans/Doom Patrol and Stargirl. They’re doing it so they can make a movie like Joker and decide how connected it will be on the fly, so to speak. Or do a Patterson Batman and then go back to a an Affleck Batman (aside from Patterson’s Batman is an early year two Batman and Batfleck is near retirement Batman).

We’ll have to see how things go. It’s gonna be one of those stories shaped by rights as much as what would be cool.

It will be an interesting sequel, especially after the post-credit scene of Far From Home. It's been hinted that the name of the movie will be Homerun, which would tie in with the franchise's addiction to having the word home in the title, and it would also tie in with the post-credit scene.

Yes, more or less. But if theaters ever become a thing again we'll also get a Morbius movie and a second Venom movie and I guess they're working on a Kraven movie.
Well yes, those will become part of the Sony-verse when they're released. Also, Tom hardy has signed up for a third Venom movie.

Three Spider-Men?

Toby, Andrew, Tom. It was a contextless painting, it could just be something he thought was cool. Following up, yeah, I think he just grabbed some fan art. That's way more likely than he snapped a picture of concept art and shared it. He's not new to film or even superhero movies.
I figured, but thought it was part of the annoucement instead of fan art.

HC Eredivisie wrote:I'm also constantly confusing Electro with Shocker

Honestly I like the Shocker more but with the Spidey sense making your punches kick more don't matter as much. But I came from the era of Electro in the green suit and lightning bolt headpiece. Also, he was always beaten by being dispersed in water.
That goes for most Spider-man villains except those who wear a symbiote. Also that sounds like a job for Hydro-man.

so from what I gathered on the internet supposedly actors and actresses who play characters in the MCU are by contract not allowed to portray characters in the DCEU is it true because I wouldn't mind seeing Scarlet Johansson as Poison Ivy or having Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Fate, or Michael Rooker as Two Face

Well, Michael Keaton is returning as Batman in Flashpoint and is Vulture in Spider-man/Morbius. I imagine it's down to who you are.

Lawrence Fishburne is Perry White and Goliath.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was a Dark Elf in Thor and Killer Croc in Suicide Squad.

JK Simmons is Commissioner Gordon and J Jonah Jameson.

Zachary Levi was a Warrior 3 and Shazam.

I found a list. Though most of them are not MCU/DCEU specific but any Marvel of DC movie.

I wouldn't mind toby's spider man back but Garfield's was a bit bland and his films didn't do to well compared to Maguire's

Clickbait 101.

If there's a line buried three sentences deep in the fourth paragraph that this is all based on hearsay from an unknown source, they're not being dishonest!

Also, legit forgot Helstrom was a Marvel character...like, I was gonna click on that when it popped up on Hulu because I thought, "Wait, that's a Ghost Rider 'villain', right? Or related character, I should watch this" but they never indicated it was a Marvel thing.

But it was the only thing under Loeb and that old asshole guy who was the reason we had to wait so long for a Black Widow movie before Studios and Entertainment became one again. And it WAS going to have Ghost Rider in it but that series DIDN'T survive the cut.
