I thought it was decent. Up there with other 2019 classics like Justice League: Part 2 and Transformers 6.

And here I was thinking the Disney acquisition would mess with the quality of the Fox movies.

If they could've sufficiently messed with them I think they would have :p

I don't know who I'm kidding, I have a subscription to my local theater. I watched the fucking Lighthouse, I'll watch New Mutants assuming it doesn't become like Captain American 1990...and hell, I even watched that.

There's over two days of content in just the films alone. It's a lot. I really like these films and trying to watch all of them in, what, a week made me hate Doctor Strange (which was the one I got up to when I abandoned the idea as a bad job).

Better to pare the films down to the necessary watches and hope Blaat becomes hooked to watch the others later on.

True, but my inner fangirl liked it when he was back. Unless Blaat knows who he is from the comics or so, then it's a case of 'how did he get there?'

The Blaatschapen wrote:I know the relation between Loki and Thor. I've read about Norse mythology :p
Sleipnir is not Loki's son in the MCU, as far as we know anyway.

I never wanted to cut down on the list, just to have an order of which first, not based on release date but chronological order or so :)

But I can also just watch the few that are absolutely relevant. I am good with afterwards fitting in the origin stories :)
The Blaatschapen should resign

Holy crap, if you have Disney+ or other ways of accessing entertainment I don't need to know about, I just watched the entirety of the 1998 Fox Kids series for Silver Surfer.

Oh my god. If you're a Jack Kirby fan this is amazing. It's basically Jack Kirby panels in motion. Also if you're looking for pre-MCU cosmic Marvel fun, Thanos is bopping about while monoluging to a statue of Lady Chaos (kids show, couldn't do Death), Drax the Destroyer, Nebula. It even has Pip the Troll and Beta Ray Bill. Just...wow.

Is that the show where he endlessly monologues while surfing through space or do I misremember that it was so boring?

Which is more interesting?

The MCU as the Tony Stark saga as encapsulated in the following films:

Iron Man
TFA
Iron Man II
The Avengers
Iron Man III
Age of Ultron
Civil War
Homecoming
Infinity War
Endgame
Far From Home

Or the MCU as the Infinity Stone Saga, as encapsulated in the following films:

The First Avenger
The Avengers
Thor: The Dark World
Guardians of the Galaxy
Age of Ultron
Doctor Strange
Civil War
Ragnarok
Infinity War
Endgame

I think the Tony Stark Saga, actually. Less conventional. Ends on a downer.

I watched it as a kid, but a pretty small kid so I don't remember much about it. It's on the list of things to watch again.

Iron Man saga, it feels like a more coherent storyline especially in the beginning but I can't really tell why exactly.

And I got Disney+ just to watch Endgame. I'm not sure if I want to keep it after the free trial, though I'm tempted to watch the Mandalorian.

when I watched it the trailer I thought it was a Russian version of Avengers with red guardian Rachel Wiess the other lady along with Scarlett's Black Widow plus I really thought Rachel Wiess was the Task master well the trailer proved me wrong

I think the reason why Black widow is just now getting her own movie is the same reason the scenes for the stand alone Capt Marvel were filmed after endgame they just didn't know how the characters arc would play out yet.

That'd make sense if they were sequels, which they weren't
