Titans was too dark.

Like, literally too dark. They need better lighting. It was pretty okay, though, and fun to watch and I'll definitely stay tuned into it for season 2.

But neither Titans, Doom Patrol, nor Shazam are MCU so I guess I should stop talking about it here.

Saw Cap Marvel over the weekend.
Honestly, I think she's my favourite thus far. Maybe it was the snarky humor, but I found I really latched on to her character. Didn't experience any of the "woodenness" I've seen people mention, I though she was pretty stellar throughout.
Her relationship with Fury was one of the absolute highlights, I love their camaraderie.

Honestly I meant it was just okay. Granted I don’t know much about the character, and I think the movie swings for a younger audience, but to me it was meh

Honestly I think the woodenness is just a function of people failing to acknowledge that this is a movie about a person who literally cannot remember their previous life and has spent the last six years being told to cut out her emotions (read: personality). You want lots and lots of personality? Watch someone with a clearly defined personality rather than vestigial traces such as the sense of humour.

Yes.

Titans is pretty shit, but the Doom Patrol episode was the best part of the series bar none, and now Doom Patrol's own series is pretty fucking great. It actually has good lighting and is funny and has a sentient Evangelical Rapturist cockroach, and I could go on but that would ruin the appeal of the show.

I have heard a lot of good things about Doom Patrol. What platform is it on? I think that might be why I haven't got around to it yet.

Titans does seem to be somewhat praised critically, but I couldn't get invested in it after the first couple episodes, so I gave it a miss.

It's on DC's streaming service (DC Universe), the same one that had Titans.

Pretty sure I managed to get Titans on Netflix. Wonder if Doom Patrol is on there as well.

Edit: doesn't look like it yet. But if Titans got on there, there's hope.

Also, got Into the Spider Verse on BD yesterday, and it was pretty frickin sweet. I want a Spider-Gwen and Spider-Noir movie now, and I want their toys too.
