Jesus Christ, when did we introduce dragons, magic, and references to Star Wars? What did I miss?
The foxes were ok, but now it's just getting ridiculous. Can we go back in time to a time before all of that happened or do we just start over? If we do, can we please keep some level of realism (no magic or dragons).

Personally I loved the curveball even with realism taking a backseat. It was the risk we took putting this in F7.

Maxstan:

1985:A giant Spacecraft lands in Legane City and two humanoid aliens stepped out and heralded the triumphant return of Alduin and Smaug. The two had traveled to Coruscant(capital of the Galaxy) and reformed their ways. They travelled to the planet as ambassadors for the Galactic Federation. Alduin and Smaug offered the world technology and riches beyond anything they had ever seen and no freedoms would be lost. All the people had to was join the Galactic Federation. It would be a start of tremendous debates across the world and would take months to resolve.

1986: The people of the world realize that the the dragons and eldritch abominations are somehow loyal to the Galactic Federation. This makes them very suspicious, as the dragons and abominations had killed millions back in the 1970s. Eventually, a few nations join the Galactic Federation, but most areas, such as Jenniferia, remain independent. Later that year, a radical humanist group hijacks a spaceship taking off from Lampadia, the new planetary capital of the few nations that joined the GF. Where the spaceship goes is unknown...
Meanwhile, Helmack Telvar II decides to form a crew from Jenniferia to travel the galaxy and find out more both about the GF and about potentially other nations in the galaxy. If you know what happened to the first Helmack Telvar, though, you can probably guess that this will not end well.

Maxstan:

7 MY: Maxstan started to raise an army, with the position of an army being swordmen in the front, archer in the back, siege machines and other artilleries behind the archers, and horsemen beside the whole army. The tactic was also upgraded, with hit and run attacks being done. Through this, Maxtsan manage to conquer six villages, as well as a town.
8 MY: Maxtsani population grows to 22.500. Meanwhile, Maxstan continues to grow, expanding to a nearby river, which soils around it were very fertile, and there are many fishes. Meanwhile, the navy is currently being constructed, while the Palace is nearing completetion. Meanwhile, a group of trader from a previously unknown nation called Barria, located on the Eastern side of Jenniria, arrived at Maxstan. Also, the empire where Jennifer Freiter came from, Faranion, started to take notice of where Jennifer Freiter escaped (Jennifer Freiter came to Jenniria to escape from the persecution by Faranion)

9 MY: Jennifer Freiler dies. The government officials of Maxstan form a provisional council (due to Maxstan not having any formal laws about succession) and then appoint William Bechtel as leader. However, Katherine Freiler, the only child of Jennifer Freiler, flees inland to one of the towns Maxstan had conquered and proclaims that she is the rightful leader of Maxstan. Also, the population of Maxstan is now 23,000.
10 MY: Bechtel's forces defeat Freiler's in the Battle of Fort Jennifer, the first major battle in Maxstani history so far. Katherine Freiler ends up being executed, but most of her supporters are pardoned in order to avoid further conflict and revenge.
11 MY: Trading ships from "the homeland", the old continent, begin to arrive at Maxstan. (These ships aren't from Faranion, they're from other nations on the old continent. Faranion obviously refuses to trade with its dissidents.) This is a good thing, because of the extra money from trade, but many Jenniferians fear that military ships from Faranion will come next. Because of this, Bechtel negotiates an alliance with Barria.

OOC: You may notice that I take names out of Jennifer Government whenever I run out of available names, such as in this post. (I made the names more formal first, though, because no leader of a country should ever be named "Billy". )

12 MY: Barria accepts the offer. They started to help Maxstan expand, sending some of their armies to help defend, as well as continue the expansion. Maxstan now expanded to a strategic defense area, a hill with rough terrains, where they construct a fort there. Also, they expanded to a hill, which was rich with iron.
13 MY: The youngest brother of Jennifer Freiler, Jack Freiler (there are 8 siblings, including Jack and Jennifer), decided to continue the Freiler legacy. Seeing the Jennifer bloodline have died, with the dead of Katherine, he decided to protect his kids, and educate them to become a nobleman later in their adult life. Meanwhile, the town and the largest village Maxstan conquered, Saleri and Verial, respectively, started to grow into the second and third largest city on Maxstan, respectively.
14 MY: Faranion started to invade Maxstan. They send some fleet to land their troops on the capital city of Maxstan. However, the Maxstan and Barian, planning the defense before, manage to create traps and strategies, destroying some of the invasion forces. The nations of the old world soon declared war on Faranion, with Oruhor, the largest of the nation, beside Faranion, invading the Faranion plains

15 MY: Faranion forces burn Maxstan City to the ground...
16 MY: However, they overextend their armies by marching inland to attack Saleri during the winter instead of waiting until spring. They are slowly funneled into the strategic defenses and traps mentioned by Kendor and soon run out of supplies due to guerilla attacks. By summer, 16 MY, only about 1/3rd of the Faranion forces make it back to the coast of Maxstan. They leave on ships to fight another day, and Maxstani (and Barrian, the Barrians actually did a lot of the work too since Maxstan just didn't have that much manpower) forces return to the ruins of the nation's coast. Meanwhile, in the Homelands (the old continent) Oruhor and Faranion continue fighting with no major events.
18 MY: Faranion's navy wins the Battle of Horstada Coast, sinking several Oruhor ships. However, further inland, the armies of Faranion begin to be overrun.
21 MY: Attempts to hold back Oruhor troops have failed, and half of of Faranion is occupied. Seeing this and fearing Oruhor's power, (Oruhor is the largest country in the Homelands and intervened in Faranion's own "internal politics", so this makes sense) some small nations switch sides to Faranion. Meanwhile, Maxstan enjoys its temporary peace.
23 MY: Faranion surrenders and the first part of the war (the "Faranian phase") ends. Oruhor and Valdren are now left fighting Doland, Arlonia, and Rospos, the nations that switched sides. Meanwhile, Maxstan enjoys its prosperity. By now the tiny nation is no longer so small as Faranians flee the war and persecution.


OOC: I will think of a name for the war when it ends, but not yet. Also, people from Doland should be referred to as Doish and not Dolandian, I just wanted to make that clear before anyone says their name. Doland actually came from an inside joke from a thread on General when someone spelled Deutsch (what Germans call themselves) as Doish, everyone had no idea what they were talking about, and then just for fun people ended making up the fictional nation of Doland to explain the Doish.

163 AFZ: The president of Zoltonland is killed in the Nairefinnejian civil war. Johan Tozar becomes the new president of Zoltonland. He redirects the country towards science, and withdraws from the Nairefinnejian civil war. Technology levels skyrocket.

1973, continued: The accident at the Tenstelvon Power Station was just the beginning. During the decontamination of the site, part of the reactor structure collapses inwards, causing a huge release of radioactive material. This time, the containment systems are overwhelmed. A 12 mile exclusion zone is created around the station, but the damage is much more widespread, with significant levels of radiation detected as far afield as Legane City and Telvarsland.

1974, Early: The accident at the Tenstelvon Power Station cause people to fear more about radiation. This, along with evidences of worldwide pollutions caused by the industrial practices, result in some people banding together to form a group called "Savior of the Nature". It is an enviromentalist group. Their first campaign is to protest nuclear power and weapons. The campaign is successful as people begin to protest nukes.

Responding to the protest, the governments decided to reduce the number of future nuclear power plants, and instead replace them with more conventional power plants. The current nuclear power plants, however, will be researched for it's effects on it's surrounding enviroments. The finding is shocking. One nuclear power plant, the Wuchanjieji Heneng nuclear power plant on Notching, who dumps it's toxic nuclear waste on a small river, was studied by scientists, who found that many of the local wildlife are mutated by the radiation, but the people don't care because the government told them that the benefits are worth the risk.

The plan is outlined for the future of nuclear. In addition to the aforementioned reduction, some nuclear weapons will be dismantled. Existing nuclear power plants will have it's safety increased. However, the enviromentalists still protested about the conventional power plants, which they considered polluting. So the government started a research on the effective usage of renewable energy. In addition, areas affected by the radiation will be cleaned out from radiation, while Telvenston Power Plant will be contained.

This is easy, as their dictatorship controls much of Notchingese society, and the people are just glad they have electricity in the first place. Other nations, though, are shocked, and the Saviors of Nature gain even more popularity.

Meanwhile, the world is distracted by other events. Most notably, more and more people become concerned about a revival of the delegates of the 18th sun. While there still is not conclusion to the Jens Alton investigation, it reveals shocking amounts of corruption and delegate/SDP influence within the WA.

The civil war in Del-Kasha continues between Zaranists and more moderate Commonwealthists. This is starting to cause a split within the Zarintern..

1976: The Savior of Nature, enjoying the new influence they have, started to push for more environmental protection. They protested the air conditioner after it was revealed that it made a hole on the ozone layer, while pushing for nations to stop the nuclear weapon proliferation and start disarming the nukes. They also held boycotts at locations where the nature will be demolished in favor of industry. They also formed an animal rights branch, called Animal Welfare

The Zarintern split reached a new height, when Notching and Sigilite skirmishes each other, before a ceasefire was declared. Meanwhile, Mishina had now became full Zaranist, starting an industrialization plan, incorporated into Zarintern's five year plan, and destroying the five important symbols of the Mishinan Imperial family, the Sacred Jade, the Undefeatable Sword, the Reflecting Shield, the Mirror of Truth, and the Resonating Bell.

Meanwhile, nations declared boycott over Nothing, blockading their trade routes, while Notching invaded a nation off it's coast, named Goryeo, shocking the defenders with paratroopers, blitzing their way after landing, and mercilessly destroying their navy and army with missiles.

In Del-Kasha, the Commonwealthists made a breakthrough, when they captured the Airship's Inventor mine, and the city of Delsa.

Jens Alton was discovered dead in his apartment. The WA passed off his death as being caused by a previously unknown heart condition, though people are suspicious that he was in fact, poisoned by the delegates for his investigation. Then, the suspicion grew as Jens Alton best friend, famous journalist Jenny Dean, was found dead, after being killed by a gang. The suspicious thing is that she was writing a book about the Delegates involvement in Jens Alton's death. Later, her house burned down, along with the book she was writing.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the three people killed by the Gated Eel company, James McDonald and the two ministers, we're found as a skeleton underwater, off the coast of Jenniferia. Their skeletons have the name of the organization killing them carved into their bones. An investigation was then started about their deaths

In Del-Kasha, the Commonwealthists are close to victory, but the Zaranists retreat into the wilderness and start a bloody campaign of guerilla warfare. The Frontier Commonwealth sends soldiers (ostensibly "volunteers") over the border, one of the main reasons the Commonwealthists are finally able to advance. In response, Notching, Mishina, and the Liberated Commonwealth of Jenniferia suspend FC's Zarintern membership. Sigilite and Kargazastan attempt to be neutral but this doesn't really work out and they eventually join the FC's faction. Notching occupies Goryeo and installs a puppet government, killing thousands of loyalist Goryeans and trying to wipe out their national identity. Despite global sanctions and the split within the Zarintern, Notching refuses to withdraw...

The WA continues to unravel. After a year of infighting, no one can agree on a Secretary General, with each faction calling the others delegate puppets. In yet another shocking move, when the WA almost unanimously votes to sanction Notching, Notching responds by leaving the organization entirely. Many other nations, even those that hate Notching, are starting to lose trust in the WA.

As the world grows more and more chaotic, nations panic and begin to prepare for the worst case scenario. The Saviors of Nature and various others manage to start global diplomatic talks on nuclear disarmament, but nothing has come of them so far. Bunkers, missile defenses, and early warning systems are built, but this will probably not be enough to survive a war that could truly end all wars, by destroying sentient* civilization...

1978: The Savior of Nature soon started to have some of it's members become more radical. They started a campaign on banning lead, as well as condemning the oil industry when a ship wreck happened on Snowflake. A ship carrying oil crashed on a national park in Snowflake, spilling millions of tons of oil into the land and water.

In Del-Kasha, The FC and it's allies started a brutal campaign aimed at purging the Zaranists. They appointed a new leader that was authoritarian, a kitsune named Jaka Hayter, grandson of Weemus Dowit. He was a rightist, and soon, he started public purges of suspected Zaranists, as well as dropping their dead bodies from planes.

In Notching, as the purges of the Goryeo was continued, it's cultural buildings looted for bourgeoisie reason, and a new leader named Min Jung Choi appointed as the leader of Goryeo, Gou Zhong died from heart attack. He was replaced by a more moderate leader named Zhao Li. Zhao soon started a reform of Notching, making a new ideology named "Notching People's Capital Commonwealthism". It was a policy similar to Deng Xiaoping's reform IRL. He also granted independence to Goryeo, and started to negotiate with Sigilite to restore relations, proposing an idea that Zarintern's leadership will be moved to Notching, but honoring Sigilite's role in Zaranism. Zhao is also an anti-delegate, and he secretly have Notching's intelligence agency to spy on suspected delegates on the WA.

A new secretary General stepped up for a new position. He was a charismatic 52 years old human-kitsune hybrid, and a believer in Atelianism, named George Dolet. Dolet, cooperating with Zhao, managed to discover a new information by the end of the year, which revealed the people of the WA that were delegates. Dolet soon started a plan to purge those people from the WA.

As tensions were growing, a new group emerged. They were a group of people who advocated peace and nature, called Naecetarians. They look like a combination between a hippie and a rasta. They lived a natural life and peacefully protested the tension and the delegates.
