I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. I use my phone for games occasionally, but I mostly use it for texting, social media, and watching YouTube.

Play SW: Galaxy of Heroes a lot. Also managed to get a non-jailbreak GBA emulator on, so I've been Nuzlocke challenging Pokemon Fire Red.

How do you feel about iOS? what do you prefer about it over Android?

I didn't know you could have emulators on iOS, are they common? Do they have NES/SNES?

I have Samsung Galaxy and it runs on Android. I don't use it for games.

I have an iPad (which I use for games) but that's not a phone.

This still deserves an answer I guess

I've never had an android, so I can't really give a fair comparison.

Game Boy emulators are the most obvious choice for phones, not sure if you can feasibly get other emulaotrs on there. The control scheme might get a little wacky.
I did have a PS2 emulator set up on my PC at one point.

I have a Sony Xperia Z5 Compact which seems to have been updated to whatever Android recently (less than 50% charge available, can't check). This is the first phone I have actually enjoyed since Nokia N82 which was a marvel and one of the first phones to be called a smartphone (never mind the advertisement junkies who reinvented the term years later). Android appears to be far more stable than current Linux desktops (I have worked with Oracle and Gentoo before and am currently running Arch) and provides me with the customisations I need.
I will never support iOS as their policies are foreign to me. They are one of the reasons why most modern phones can literally not be taken apart (lacking the screws and/or fastenings), not to mention the other things Apple has done over the years as a company, ideologically.
Most phones today are crap. Touchscreen was a crap idea and should be scrapped. But I'm an old bugger whose first phones were a green Ericsson (without the "Sony") brick and a Siemens A50.
Another thing I don't like is that people are pushed into using phones. Transferring money and using Google is very painful if you don't have a phone, and you are locked out of a number of real-life services in First World countries. This irritates me, as I have been brought up with the idea of computing devices being there for work, not play and entertainment (and tracking you!).
Which brings me onto another point: I don't have a single game installed on my current device. I don't have time to play them anyway.

No. I feel more convenient using a Samsung phone, because its screen is larger than that of iPhones.

Can't recall cell phones, because I have never had one I liked.

First experience with a non-landline was my car phone though.
I loved that experience...

My first phone was a Nokia Lumia 710 and I've used a Windows Phone for years, but the bugs, lack of updates and app gap (even in first-party apps) that came with Windows 10 Mobile was the final straw. Since Ballmer left the company, Microsoft has shown zero commitment to its own hardware platform.

I finally dropped Windows for Android in February, now have a OnePlus 3T.

TBH, just about every Android OS phone Samsung makes has the word "Galaxy" in the name: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy
It's entirely possible for anyone to have had any number of phones during the last three years, state they have a Samsung Galaxy phone, and still be correct without supplying too much personal information.

It's too bad really, I was one of those who back in the 1990s tried to avoid MS products other than Windows and MS Office, and here I was two decades later saying liked Windows Phone 8. :(

I've got an Android 6.0. It does its purpose. I mainly use it to read and to talk with others on an emotional support app and through text messaging. As for games, sometimes I play BTD5 on it, but I've grown tired of the series.

I use an Iphone. I managed to get an emulator running on the thing allowing me to play my favorite gba game, Fire Emblem 6, on the go.

Galaxy S6. But I will get a Google Phone next time. Even Nokia's looking pretty decent... I like the stock android experience/LineageOS.
