Also, why do people not like the VA?
I think it's great.

What I've heard so far.

Zelda
Old man/Last King
Impa
Sipon
Mipha
Might be others....

Not sure. I've liked the voices I've heard thus far (and where I'm at, I've probably heard basically all of the voiced characters save for one, since I assume whatever form "Calamity Ganon" takes, that he/it will have dialogue of some variety.) But then, vocal taste is subjective. The voice acting itself sounded fine to me though.

I think it's just Zelda and Mipha that people don't like. I actually mistook Mipha for Zelda in Vah Ruta. I think all of the other voices I've heard are great

Mipha's still best girl, though.

Agreed.

Is the "death scene" in the game at all?

Cause I have my thoughts about it, even if it's never talked about.

He must have lain there for a long time, just waiting for her to show up and heal him, waiting....
Just waiting...
Waiting on the field in front of the castle, with various tribe members trying to save him....

In fact, I believe that he "died" not knowing that she had died before him, right?

If it's explained more in the game, tell me.

Complete the memories questline, you'll see.

...I think that means yes?

Cool.

Question is, is the memory in first person or third person?

The memory sequences are basically third person cutscenes. It'll likely take you awhile to get all of them, as they are widely spread out across the map. But after you help the painter in Kakariko, he'll help you pin down the locations. There's one not outrageously far from the village, and you'll run into him at various stables and stuff where he'll be able to point you in the direction of others. Once you've gotten all the ones on the slate, Impa will point you to the final one. Good stuffs. :D

So. I've gotten two so far.
The one where Link and Zelda are walking along the lake, Zelda talking about "how the Beasts were built by people"

And Mipha.
That one.
Though I am wondering what Link did to get that wound in the cutscene....

Literally anything that you do in Breath of the Wild.

Just a warning that a couple of them are pretty hard to find.

I had to resort to a guide to get the rest that I needed.

Git gud, scrub. :P Got all the memories, all the shrines, conquered all four Beasts, and am on target to take on the final boss without once looking up a damn thing in any guides! ;)

Prolly going to need a guide to find all 900 Korok seeds in anything remotely close to a timely manner though. I've gotten about 300 on my own so far.

Eh, the prize for finding all of the seeds is literal shit, so no thanks.

I actually haven't played BOTW in a couple of weeks, need to get back and find all of the shrines.

I've also heard that you get a special cutscene if you beat Ganon after collecting all the memories? If so I need to beat him again.

No idea. I've been avoiding spoilers, all I've heard is that there's like, multiple endings depending on whether or not you took care of all the main questlines (Beasts, memories, Master Sword) or not.

Soooo.....About the rating.....

Yeah, there's fantasy violence...but...

"Use of Alcohol"?

I know that there's bars in the game....Can you actually drink stuff?

And...

That one other thing....

The suggestive themes....

I mean, I know that this one random dude wants you to take a picture of a statue.....

And the whole Gerudo thing....

There is a bar in the Gerudo village, though the woman running the place won't sell you any. There's a woman in the social room of the establishment who is very obviously drunk and grumbling into the table about stupid voe. I'm guessing that's where the "use of alcohol" in the rating comes in. :P

So you guys know about that NES BotW prototype, right?
Well, I have/had an idea to remake BotW using the LttP engine.

...I think someone already tried to do it but Nintendo shut them down.

However, I am coming up with a script of sorts.
Here it is.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xj5 ... sp=sharing

It is very rough as of now.

Finally got past the Yiga Clan. I won't spoil anything, but the mini-boss for that area is hilarious.

...Kind of wondering if I should do the Gerudo City thing last....
Then again...the sooner you do it the easier it is...So.....

Are the "clothes" heat resistant?

If you're wearing the entire set, then yes.

Cool.

Haven't even reached the edge of the desert yet, still going for towers and shrines.
Found the Woodland, Central and Faron Towers but I can't get them yet cause of
A- no platforms (Faron)
B- Guardians (Central)
C- that military camp... (Woodland)

A. Learn how to fly. Like a bordman.
B. Run.
C. Run.

I really regret upgrading most of my armor. It kind of broke the combat for me. :(
