Yeah, it's a complete letdown after that finale. Assuming I haven't missed anyone, the only people whose fates are still up in the air are Nyssa, Talia, and what'sherfacemoodyteengirl. Nyssa's pretty minor (and they won't kill her anyway, because lesbian outrage), Talia's an out and out villain, and no one cares about the girl.
More generally, the episode felt pretty soulless. I don't really feel invested in Oliver's dad problems, they've dragged Quentin's Laurel angst out so long it's lost all impact, and Diggle's shell shock (or whatever) just feels false. Even Samantha's death felt rushed, like they were just trying to get her out the way.
I think Arrow's turning crap again. It's a real shame, because I think the main problem is character bloat; there simply isn't time in every episode to explore everyone's arcs, so it all just feels shallow. They had the perfect opportunity to trim the cast down, but they've thrown it away.
