Was it like random flashback like the show sometimes has to some other side plot?
Was it the pointless stupid flashback, because the show has been on so long, now they flash back to thing they pretend would have happened in the first sesson of the show?

Sort of a mix of them all. It was a flashback to like, last season. I think it said 11 months ago.

1 year? wow, thanks that does sound like the biggest pointless hour. If some one wants to see things happening last year, just watch a rerun. How could the writes think making a sub plots about last year could be worth anyone's time?

At least this arrow was better. Had real defining moment with Thea back, and those moments with Lance and (what his name with the young duaghter). I think it worked better with so little of Felicity and Curtis.
Even the flash backs were not like pulling hair pointless, and I did not walk out of the room to cook dinner during them.
Even if the end of the episode, a villain can be defeated with just being told his dad didn’t love him….. which was so stupid and a letdown didn’t kill it for me. Plus next week seems to be very interesting. Let’s hope the forward momentum keeps moving the plot in a better direction. Maybe that is just me.

And I'm caught up. Liked the Batman reference in this week's Supergirl (frenemies!). Flash was fun (HR is growing on me). Didn't think that ending of Arrow was at all plausible for Chase's character.

Cat was the highlight of the episode. She's always fun. Hopefully she'll be back more for season 3.

I know she'll be brought back through some comic-book nonsense. But it still annoys me that after all that build-up, nothing changed.

HR has really grown on me these past few episodes. I hope he stays on.

I mean, who else that Flash could fight comparably? Most of Flash's rogues gallery consists of either normal villains, metahumans with non-speed based powers, or speedsters. And it shows that they can no longer use heroes and villains that will be use for DCEU, such as Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Blue Beetle, to name few. Heatwave is no longer evil, while we're not sure the status of Captain Cold anymore. Trickster comes to mind, but which one? Mark Hamill, or his son?

The only possible solution is for them to make an original hero. But...usually, it is just an old villain using an original identity. Like in Arkham Knight, where the titular original Arkham Knight turned out to be....Jason Todd.

Surprise, surprise.

There's a chance that Killer Frost and Vibe will be explored deeper in season 4, though. So there's that.
