I love the casting, we've already had a black Batwoman in the DCAU (That we haven't seen since) so it seems like the writers have at least some cursory knowledge of other DC productions. Sad that we still haven't gotten a good portrayal of Kate though, she's a total joy in the comics.

I think my nerd rage has just been numbed over, completely. I just don't care, I'm now cool with all casting decisions and don't give the tiniest of shits about whatever 'carefully' constructed complaint people have that ends with characters be...whatever. Whatever it is that it's 'supposed' to be...I don't. give. a. shit. Done. Over it. I'm just going to ride out the nerd nirvana I live in where there's practically an entire broadcast channel that does shared universe comic book stories, indie comics are getting movies and series, Shang Chi is getting a movie. Cloak & Dagger had a series. Fuck it. I'm just going to enjoy the ride until angry dipshit nerds ruin it for everyone and then blame it on a black woman getting cast or Brie Larson pointing out that a movie meant for little girls is meant for little girls. Over it. Fuck your 'childhood'. Whiners.

To no one in particular. Though I'm sure someone will mount a seven page defense that I will not read.

Yeah, I disagree. I just feel no sympathy for her. If anything, I feel worse for Henry. Yolanda is some upper-class A student who was dumb enough to send nudes in 2020, and has repeatedly threatened to MURDER a guy over it. Acting like he forced her to do it. Idiocy is a two way street.

Henry is the son of a wackadoo supervillain who treats him like an experiment, is suddenly psychic and has a nutjob in a discount Black Panther cosplay trying to wax him.

I know tastes are individual and it shouldn't matter but so often it seems like your complaints aren't with the story but with the genre's conventions.

The CW and producers Warner Bros TV and Berlanti Productions just announced that the drama series starring Melissa Benoist will conclude with the upcoming sixth season, set for premiere on the CW in 2021. It is the second series from the CW’s DC Arrowverse to come to an end following Arrow, which wrapped its eight-year run last season.
