Black Lightning is wrapping up. Can't say I'll miss it. Was way too political, and really divorced from the Arrowverse at large. Maybe they'll bring him in more as a secondary now.

During the cross over it really accentuated the age difference between Black Lightening and everyone else. Like, I expect him to hang out with Joe West more than Barry and company.

I thought their stories were more ambitious and I appreciated that but never paid enough attention to actually know what the fuck was going on.

The DC Universe being a dud didn’t stop Doom Patrol from getting a second season and Titans getting a third. And Stargirl. Harley Quinn.

Yeah, pretty sure it was the tax thing.

But DC Universe was bunk, I’m not paying more for a handful of DC crap than I pay for fucking Netflix. Now that it’s on HBO Max it’s a screaming deal. I was up all night finally watching Solaris on the same service.

Well, they must have done something wrong. Cause it was only around for like a blink before they turned it into an online comic streaming thing.

But yes, it was bunk to try and charge that much for that little.

...Eh? I'm trying to be on this show's side, I really am. But the "Time to be powerful" bit was just cringe.

It's a reach, but if that C7 Corvette turns out to be the Batmobile, I don't care what they did with the rest of the series. The Batmobile based on an actual roadgoing car is awesome (even the Lincoln Futura which was just a show car). The fact that the The Batman Batmobile looks like he shadetreed a Duster into a crime fighting car delights me. I don't like the paramilitary tank/dune buggy of the last couple and while the 89 Batmobile looks slick as hell...well, they actually created a reality in which it kind of made sense so all is forgiven there, it looks slick as hell.

Well, they turned the brightness up a tad. The show is not surprisingly more enjoyable when I can actually see what's going on. If I have one complaint it's that

I didn't watch Legends season 5 when it was out -I think I stopped watching after the Prom Night Slasher episode- until now and uh. I wish I had watched it while it was being released. S5 is pretty good, a lot better than S4 imo.

My only gripe with season 5 was them rushing Ray out the door like they did. Just felt so rushed and badly written.

Side-note: Brandon Routh is currently playing a racist cop on The Rookie. And he's pretty good at it. Never seen him in a villain role before, but he's surprisingly good at it.

He did play Neron for like a couple of episodes in Season 4, which are some of the things about the season I liked. But honestly if the rumors behind the scenes are to be trusted, I'm not entirely sure if they could have done the thing without it being rushed. Eh, at least it wasn't like Stein's leaving the show in season 3, it leaves the door open for recurring, or guest starring on the show ever so often.

Jesus Christ the shows-within-the-show episode was even more off the rails than I had thought. I'll never get over Television's Dominic Purcell looking like that™. Ditto Sara and Eva's speech patterns and intonation in that Star Trip thing I'm still reeling.

Okay, Batwoman is picking up...I mean I still don't give a single fuck about whatever Alice is doing, but Ryan is growing on me. I mean it helps she has way more personality than Kate. And Zsasz was fun. Little iffy on the new wig, but whatever.

I'm agnostic on the new Batwoman but the heavy use of the C7 based Batmobile delights me.

Feel like they could have shot for the moon and got GM to give them a C8 but whatever.
