But then the Arrow got boring. Now they're just milking it.
Oliver's real superpower isn't that he's accurate with a bow, it's that he can dodge bullets like a pro.

Really? Flash is my favorite at the moment. I like Legends, but sometimes I feel like they're just leftovers that wouldn't fit in well with Arrow and Flash. I like Supergirl too, but it's way too unrealistic, even for a show based on aliens and people with superhuman abilities. Arrow I liked, especially seasons one and two, but it started to go downhill from there. Now I think that the only reason they're keeping it alive is so that the rest of the Arrowverse isn't affected, with Oliver and friends never showing up again.

Yeah, it's all opinion, but I'm biased. The only Flash fans I know are all ten years old or younger, and they're extremely annoying and obsessive with the show (my step-brother watches it in the living room all the time even though he's already watched it sooo many times). In association, the show seems more childish to me.
Anyway, another reason is I prefer Arrow fight scenes. And I prefer Arrow acting. Flash is a little unpolished.
But well, so is The Arrow. My standards are way too high now that I've been watching Better Call Saul.

I agree, Arrow acting and emotional development, including fight scenes, are way better, although I think that may be situational since a non-speedster fighting with a speedster usually ends in a quick fight and two speedsters fighting is just a bunch of lightning and animated fights which don't look nearly as good. But the overarching story arcs no longer fit together as well as they used to on Arrow, in my opinion (then again the Flash has been getting worse as well). I think what really made Arrow good earlier was Roy, Felicity, Dig, Laurel, and Thea. Just the way they interacted, the way their personalities contrasted, it was great. But now they're no longer in as prominent roles and they've stuck a bunch of new characters together, idk, it just seems weird. I guess with more TV time the new characters might seem better to me.

Nation of Quebec wrote:You beat me to it. I was wondering why there's no thread for the Arrowverse.

Interestingly enough, I never got into Arrow. I was into The Flash first, then Legends, then Supergirl. I only watch Arrow when there's crossovers.

Also, Matt Smith and/or Karen Gillan totally need to star in an Arrowverse show seeing how Arthur Davill, John Barrowman, and Alex Kingston have all had roles on the series.

I just got into the Arrow from Season 2, went through hell and back till the mid-season 4, then I got sort of losing interest since the protagonists seemed to have no time of rest and ended up being beaten repeatedly, then I went into watching Flash's more optimistic theme and Supergirl's even more optimistic theme.

Legends of Tomorrow is also good, but I am more in the lines of Supergirl and Flash. Arrow is mixed, while Legends of Tomorrow is trying so hard (I think) to have good story and awesome. It got good on the awesome, but the story seems like they are destined to be second-rate Justice League with time traveling themes.

Not helping when Flash screwed the timeline. Again.

But the fight scenes are choreographed very well and it is quite good.

His costume looks too much like Jason's Friday the 13th to me. Casey Jones' looks better in comparison.

The idea of Mr. Terrific included is not bad, since it is contributed to his character development as well.

Speaking of Legends, they just need to let Mick do the intro from now on. He killed it.

Mick's awesome. Here's hoping he's not going into other forms when Snart makes his appearance again.

He really has come into his own since Snart bit the big one...also, I never liked Snart very much to begin with, so it's a bonus.

I sort of agree on the former. Mick and Snart, while good when they are partnered, is better when they are not. I like Snart, he's sarcastic and his sarcasm and personality is good. I don't know whether I should hate or like his return as a villain, though.

Yup. Sometimes television can be easy to predict.

With that being said, I'll make my own Flash prediction.

They will be able to save Iris, but someone else on Team Flash will be killed instead. My money is on Joe. It seems to be the most logical guess considering the patterns of the past two seasons. It'll be disappointing if this turns out to be true, as Joe is one of the best characters on the show.

I'm interested in what they'll end up doing with the Supergirl musical crossover. Musicals aren't really my thing, but I'm interested in this one.

Ugh. If they do another "evil speedster kills parent-figure, then Barry gets faster and beats speedster" I may have to murder someone. Possibly by vibrating my arm through their ribcage. Here's hoping they've got something to shake up the formula for the end of season 3, before the Flash goes the way of Arrow.

A good way to find out who's dying is by who's being developed the most.

Or in the case of Flash and Arrow: the new character almost always ends up evil and/or dead. In that case, it's either Julian or H.R.

Well, Julian's not evil, unless the Alchemy thing is a double bluff of some sort. I have my fingers crossed for HR dying, though. Although evil would be acceptable too; anything to make his personality less grating than it is now.

Yes, there is going to be a musical episode. Warning, link may contain spoilers. It seems to be between Supergirl and Flash.

Not sure how I feel about this yet.

Oh, I agree. I hope it's not Joe (he's probably my favorite character along with Cisco), but I can't help but get the feeling that they'll end up killing him off. There's no way it'll be Iris.

I could see it being Julian or H.R, but my gut is telling me it's Joe.

I kinda like Flash, despite its flaws.
Arrow is just.. ehh. They really need to stop doing the same bad thing happens because someone kept a secret which they did in order to protect someone spiel over and over again.
Also, I get it, you want to illustrate your show is lyk ttly dark, but you don't do that by having your characters say "darkness" every other sentence.

Probably cause the Arrowverse is already complicated enough with 4 shows.

Or it could be a test. Black Lightning isn't a super big name hero. Maybe they use the first season as a test. And if people take to the show, he finds his way into the show universe.

Probably the same way Supergirl can travel between universes. I'm more interested in how they're going to make Black Lightning's sidekicks look like (because every DCTV protagonist needs a friend).

It looks like next week's episode of Arrow is going to concern gun control, which should be interesting. I don't think they've really done enough with Oliver being mayor and the possibility of political arcs, so hopefully this marks the beginning of something.

So long as it's not as heavy-handed as the Supergirl immigration episode.
