No, you definitely can by changing the end date in the files. What I don't know if if there are any setbacks to this. I had seen somewhere that after a while the economy crashes beyond fixing but I don't know if this is the case.

I invaded Poland in 1936 as the Soviets, took over half of it and puppeted the other half, and that is when i found out that if i have my subjects at integrated puppet level i can control their armies and build stuff in their territory which is kind of awesome.

Now im working on swaying the masses of Turkey and the Balkans to communism and then ill focus on Scandinavia. The comintern grows stronger with every passing day.

Well you were never meant to go past 1936 so some bugs are to be expected.
