I still don't understand how Kaissereich get's the whole Prussian thing wrong. Obviously they won't be as powerful as they were at the beginning of WWI but they'd be nowhere near French or British levels of unprepared. Prussia was birthed into war and it shall perish through war.

It will always be a hard pick between Stalin and Trotsky because Trotsky's purge ruins your national unity whereas Stalin keeps Kalinin who boosts it. Stalin however has a horrendous national focus that pours sulfuric acid over the soviet war machine for 4 years. However by the time Trotsky shows up it's nearly impossible to stop WWII through glorious revolution. Though the shallow post war period is filled with pouring volunteers and expeditionary forces into every corner of the world. I still need to test if fighting the civil war as Stalin is better than activating the purge.

IRL between the two I pick Stalin because Trotsky would have been a greater threat to global security by spreading Soviet brand Socialism across the world and on top of him being a homicidal monster like Stalin who would have killed millions of Russians/Eastern Europeans as well.

In it's current state, the game is basically rigged in favor of the Syndicalists. The French Commune curbstomps the Germans like it's nothing because the AI almost never tries to recover from Black Monday. Couple that with the fact that the AI Russians almost always fall to Syndicalism and the German alliance is basically fucked. It's not even like the US can come into save the day either, since the Civil War just drags on and on and on. At least the Spaniards have the common courtesy to end theirs quickly in vanilla.

I understand there's a lore reason for the Internationale to be as powerful as they are, but right now it's basically either kill or be killed when it comes to faction choice in Kaiserreich.

At least in Vanilla, the Axis and the Allies both have a good chance of winning, and the Comintern can survive with a player at the helm.
