It's been awhile, so I decided to start a new CK2 game as a German duchess with a few provinces. She died two years in at only 200 prestige, with a newborn daughter born with the "slow" trait ascending to the throne. I thought for sure that the game was as good as over and I'd get overthrown, but surprisingly, survived and by the age of 16 had around 1,000 prestige which might've been due to festivals and feasts.

The Emperor, because it wouldn't be CK2 if he didn't, hated me and kept revoking my provinces, resulting in me having to keep annexing others to stay alive. My duchess died at the age of 36 with around a dozen children and an adult daughter, who managed to form marriage ties and alliances with both France and the Byzantine Empire.

Spain was definitely the MVP though, could've lost the 28k vs 35k fight in Paris during the first war without the glorious Spanish stack riding in to help.
After that France didn't have a coast and was split up by Berry so there was popular English game of 'lets beat up on the French' going on every five years. Most of Western Europe excluding Spain hate me though, not sure why...

Which reminds me of a Jerusalem game I played. I had only expanded into Egypt since they were Shia, so the Abbasids wouldn't take my holy war as an invitation to rip me a new one. Eventually the Shia Caliph became my vassal in this way, since I owned the duchy his title was on. So, I gave the duchy to a Jew, forced the Caliph to give up his land titles (which didn't banish him since the caliphate still counts as landed) then proceeded to plot to kill his entire line, leaving the caliph title unheld (which is only worth mentioning since I got it done in under two kings). Without an actual leader Shia became a heresy of Sunni, and I, King of Jerusalem, became de facto caliph.

Yeah I'm not really sure what happened there; just noticed it afterwards. Don't think it was a war though, since I never got called in... Definitely unusual game sofar.
Spain has most of Mexico cornered plus few in Caribbean, I've more scattered colonies so got papal claim to north america and Caribbean. Spain's definitely ahead in terms of defendable/ developed area though.

Anyway, our alliance is broken now. So what did I do? I looked over to their ally, Gaya, in southern Korea and launched a Maritime war with them since Goguryeo wouldn't answer their call to arms. I'm not planning on taking any territory from Gaya. I'm just gonna break their alliance.

I'm thinking about trying to break apart Goguryeo's empire, but if I re-ally with them, they'll be a big help (along with my other ally, the Western Satraps) whenever I eventually decide to fight the Mughals.

My war with the Mughals, Armenia, and Rashidun was not worth it. At least the Mughals and Rashidun aren't allied anymore.
