Im going to make this a law/rule that you will all follow when you become OP/OP'ess, that i totally have the power to back up and enforce. That is that there must be at least one gif of Stannis Baratheon.

Failure to do this.. will lead to bad things in your life... ill yell at you a bit and then what the fuck are you going do!

I guess it's the "non-traditional" way resources are used and battles are done.

I'm used to getting my resources, training my dudes, then sending them to a place to fight some other dudes. If I have more dudes I beat their dudes. CK2 style, ya know?

This is just a bit more realistic than I'm used to, having to micromanage what ships I'm building, how to best build my divisions, what resources I have, how to best utilize my factories, etc. etc. is just a little overwhelming. Ya know?

I think I need to watch some tutorials, cause I like the game, I just need to git gud.

Personally my standard infantry division is a standard 9 Infantry battalions with at the very least support artillery, recon, and engineering.
Also I think carriers are a good investment because carrier fighters and naval bombers are far easier to replace than battleships.

They lock down a region preventing you from occupying them till you deal with the local fort. I guess its to stop mass carpet sieging until you deal with garrisons etc. Im not sure if its changed at all or if they added anything new to it, ive not played EU4 in ages.

That's not stopped the AI from walking right past my fort line without siegeing them the cheating fucks.

You can go past them except in certain circumstances i believe, and try and siege land that is not guarded by a fort. If you occupy something near a fort it reverts back under the owners control

So, in case anyone was wondering how they set up the Hundred Year War in the Four Nations Mod, basically all rulers in the Fire Nation get a casus belli (claims an entire duchy) to invade anyone in the Earth Kingdom (beyond Ba Sing Se all territory is basically ruled by tributaries of the Earth Kingdom, rather than proper vassals), and so the many Fire Nation vassals will overwhelm the petty lords of the Earth Kingdom with many wars at once. And treaties for that casus belli last about a month. So that goes about as well as you'd expect.

Just to test it out I'm cheating a lot, and the Fire Nation is basically steamrolling everyone else, though the Fire Lord himself (it's set up so that Azulon will always have Iroh and, I think, Ozai, at the very least, so I've only dealt with Firelords at this point) has only been involved in wars with me (mostly that I started) and Omashu. Because I'm a dirty little cheater though their offensive is stalled, as they're all trying to conquer parts of my territory, but are focused on different goals and uncoordinated, making them easy to stomp with my doomstacks.

The mod is definitely not finished (some holdings are blacked out and can't be improved, though this seems mostly to affect the Water Tribes and Ba Sing Se) and it sometimes crashes, but overall it's quite fun.

Do you know if I can get something similar to fire as the Fire Lord (get it?) created in a different start, ie. the Chin one (right after he died), and I took the Hongs (the predecessors to the modern Fire Lords) to the throne?

What year is it? There might be an event to trigger Sozin being born or something, but that seems unlikely. Otherwise, converting from Fire Spirituality (I assume that's your current religion) to Fire Imperialism might get an event to trigger, or let you start it from the intrigue tab. Otherwise, you might have to wait until the year 830, when Sozin's comet arrives, at which point you might have the option to start the war (though I assume you'd have to be Fire Imperialist to do so). Also, I suddenly have the desire to make some RvB-themed empires in Stellaris.

To be clear, I do not know if the Hundred Year War can be triggered the way you want to, those are just the ways I would assume such an event would be triggered.

If nothing has come up yet, I don't really know. You could always do it via the console, but beyond that I don't really know how to do it. I assume If you start with Sozin in the 780 start he can gets the option to convert at some point.
