Ill start taking names for those who want to OP the next thread, remember i can only have 10 options in the poll, and i would prefer it if you are a long term regular on here or have some experience with oping threads. So if a nation pops up with 20 posts im not going to consider it.

Ill probably set up the poll around 460-470 maybe. Just so we have it set in stone and there is not a delay with the voting mainly happening on one day right at the end of the thread page limit like last time.

Alright after installing and testing a game of Victoria II as Flanders I would like suggestions as to what I should do for a long play.

As for my Flanders game I released and played as Wallonie which despite only doing it to not deal with belgium having a puppet still made me attempt to choke myself. Then I tagged over to Belgium to release and play as Flanders and then tagged over to England to remove Belgium from sphere (i'm not that kind of suicidal). Now back to Flanders set my options and hit play. Now began the race and restarts to find allies before the Dutch invaded. Prussia and Spain were eager to sign on board after a few rolls and the Dutch went after the Wallonians first thankfully and refused to do 2 wars at once. They annexed Wallonie resulting in a world record for earliest border gore. At the same time I annexed Brussels which I had a core on and Belgium doesn't give away Brussels on release. Now the Dutch invaded resulting in a desperate gamble to hold them off long enough for the Prussian Advance and Spanish distraction in the colonies. Unfortunately the Dutch soon dragged in Austria and instead of getting Wallonie i settled for a white peace. The prestige catapulted me into secondary power status. Then using my victorious allies I generated a war goal to take Algiers from France. A gamble if I've ever heard of one. Prussia did what Prussia does and poured a shit ton of soldiers into france and had most of the nation occupied. Spain despite losing some territory held on long enough for Prussia to take out enough of the French and their allies and as a result we Won Algiers and I was a top secondary power. Then came the hard part. Winning a war by myself. Tunis was isolated and so with the scraps of an army we sailed to Algiers and began the hellish war against Tunis. After a dreadful campaign we won. Then hell itself happened. The truce with the dutch expired and they came marching through wiping me out. Thankfully Prussia is best ally and they destroyed the dutch allowing me to annex Wallonie and Prussia took Gelderland. Now to work with spheres. And soon after I had elevated Flanders to Great Power Status solely through prestige (granted it took a lot of lucky losses by other GPS and secondaries). Algeria itself and Egypt were wrangled into my Sphere. Sadly however, The Flemish Wild Ride ended with stumbling into a war with France and their allies when Algeria revolted whilst being allied to France. Prussia had a truce and wouldn't intervene so I had been annihilated over night. I tried to ally the Russians and drag them into this but they weren't fast enough. Before France could rip me apart I resigned and exiled myself to Jan Mayen where I was promptly ripped apart by Polar Bears.

Result: Flanders became a great power
What we learned: The coziest place in the world is a Prussian's back. and that the Netherlands suck.

So I recently got HOI4, a recent game I did was Facist America(Chilché, I know), and now I'm doing democratic Germany. Any advice?

I didnt do a democratic germany, but i did do a communist one and my first steps were to take over Austria, then hit Fascist italy and take them out. They tend to get very little support due to being surrounded by democracies and other kinds, no other fascists around to help them, and japan did not get involved for me.

That was my plan. Justifying on Italy already.
