We Are Number One but it's a NationStates Mod Version

Postby Gurori » Tue Dec 13, 2016 8:39 pm

I was gonna do Violet Night but I decided to do this abomination instead.

This song is meant to be sung to the tune of "We are Number One" from LazyTown. This song also represents how our three evil dictators learned the meaning of christmas moderation.

Lets do this!

Violet: Are you a real mod?

Sedgistan: Well, Uh Technically Nah.

Violet: Have you ever caught a repetitive offender like a real DOS?

Frisbeeteria: Nah

Violet: Have you ever tried reading a report?

Reploid Productions: Nah, Nah

Violet: Alright, I can see I will have to teach you how to be MODS!

(Saxophone Intro, from this point onward Violet is the only one singing aside from the word "Hey", in which everybody shouts it)

Hey!
We are Number One
Hey!
We are Number One

Now listen closely
Here's a little lesson in trickery
This is going down in history
If you wanna be a Moderator Number One
You have to show a rulebreaker the force of Moderation

(DOS user speeds by)

Just follow my moves, and sneak around
Be careful not to make a sound
Shh

(Ear-rape crunching sound)

No, don't touch that!

(Short Instrumental)

We are Number One
Hey!
We are Number One

Ha ha ha
Now look at this banhammer, that I just found
When I say ba-zing, be ready to swing
Ba-zing!
Swing it at him, not me!
Ugh, let's try something else

Now watch and learn, here's the deal
He'll be a twit and fall into this deletion pit!
Ha ha ha,

(Reploid, Sedge and Frisbee fall into the pit instead)

WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?

(Instrumental Segment)

ba-ba-biddly-ba-ba-ba-ba, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba
We are Number One
Hey!
ba-ba-biddly-ba-ba-ba-ba, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba
We are Number One
ba-ba-biddly-ba-ba-ba-ba, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba
We are Number One
Hey!
ba-ba-biddly-ba-ba-ba-ba, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba
We are Number One
Hey!
Hey!

Besides, I'm the master of the DOS quick-draw from back in the wild and woolly days of mid-2003. [v] gave us general directions and then left us poor bastards to figure out the rest ourselves! There's a reason I completely dominated the first few Mod Olympics way back then! :P (Reasons being that there were a lot fewer mods back then, I had a lot more free time than I do now, and I was often the only mod on deck late at night when the forums were actually semi-reliably accessible and the shock image spammers tended to show up. ;) )
Forum mod since May 8, 2003 -- Game mod since May 19, 2003 -- Nation turned 20 on March 23, 2023!

If time travel is invented in my lifetime, I'll go back to those days of early NS, just to see what it's like...

...though with my luck, I'll end up creating a time paradox through a strange series of events involving a certain bald Australian author.

Sounds horrible and insensitive.

You, my friend, have just read what we in the business call a "parody". Note that some of us call it a "fanfic", although such referrals are rare.
