There are no recorded instances of Aedra having frequent direct interactions with mortals, but Florentius regularly displays knowledge and facts that could not have been obtained through conventional means. I would say he at least has some connection to the Divines. It isn’t out of the ordinary for stuff in TES. Though IIRC the Divines are in a semi-comatose state because they aren’t as powerful as the Daedric princes, so they can’t be as active as the latter are in the mundane world. But yes, I think he does have a way of communicating with the Divine Arkay.

Its highly probable given the evidence we have. From what iv'e heard Arkay is also the closest to the mortal plane of all the Divines so its not completely out of the realm of possibility he could be speaking directly to a mortal.

Fun fact: the original quest to get the Ebony Blade was way darker and involved all of Balgruuf's children falling under the sway of Mephala, ending up with all of them committing patricide with the help of the Dragonborn.

The things you learn when wikidiving.

I’ve always wanted to soap their mouths, the brats have always irritated me. Only gives me more of a reason to flip off Mephala.

Well it is a good thing that quest never made it in because I would never, ever even fucking consider killing my man Balgruuf. Best damm Jarl in Skyrim do not even @ me.

Glad that didn't make it in. I would refused to kill the Jarl. Mephala and the book in room was creepy enough

I can't, you're objectively correct.

The Virgin Other Jarls:

Elisif: Puppet to the Imperial Legion in her hold.
Ravencrone: Batshit insane. Her own steward plots to have her replaced.
Igmund: essentially responsible for the Civil War and kowtows to the Silver-Bloods
Siddgeir: Young and arrogant
Skald: Annoying
Laila: Lets the Black-Briars run the city and is incapable of destroying a thieves guild. Can't smell the corruption in her own court.
Korir: anti-mage racist in charge of the hold with the mages. Great match.
Ulfric: Unhonorable bloodthirsty barbarian

The Chad Balgruuf: cares for his people, stays neutral in the war, is on Whiterun's side, helps you catch a dragon, only one to recognize the direct threat of dragons.

I understand the love Balgruuf gets, and I certainly would rank him highly, but I think the likes of Idgrod Ravencrone, Brina Merilis and Brunwulf Free-Winter are better. I lean towards Brina being the best overall.

None of the armours besides the Stormcloak Officer Armour works with Konahrik because of the hood.
And I hate the Stormcloak Officer Armour. No sleeves is bullshit.

For the love of The One, Bethesda, please make more armours work together or something, and make the armours believable.

While I cannot disagree with the fact that Balgruuf is undoubtedly the best Jarl in the game, I should point out that Igmund wasn't ruling the Reach at the time of the Markarth Incident. It was his father who was in charge then.

A proper criticism of Igmund would be that he, like Laila, can't smell the corruption in his own city.

I'd put "idiot" in place of "annoying" for Skald, too. Siddgeir deals with bandits so it's a bit more than arrogance.

Idgrod isn't insane, she's a seer. It's just she let's her gift keep her distracted and so is detached from her own people.

Konahrik and the other dragon priest masks work with the arch mage robes and Thalmor robes too.

My character’s an axe-and-shield warrior with light armour invested in. Kinda annoying when I find the Dawnguard light armour really cool, but I’ll find a way to make due.

I see. But since most of the dragon priest masks are heavy armor they can't be the best pick for you.

No, but I think Konahrik is worth wearing regardless. It feels fitting for the Dovahkiin. I haven’t invested into Light Armour beyond the 3/5 of the first perk(s), but it’s disappointing I’ll have to level up my Heavy Armour to get an armour that might work with it or to get more protective boots and gauntlets if I wear a robe as the body piece.

I'd buy a special edition for the PS5, I have it for the PS4 so why not, I'd say the same should happen with Fallout 4.

We don’t really need new ports that will only slightly improve graphic quality. The effort and time spent on it would be much better spent on making a new game.

Nonsense. We're all suckers and Bethesda knows it. We'll buy TESVI close to launch after our third copy of Skyrim.
