Markarth got bugged for me once i completed that mission when the game launched. Every time i entered the city any guard i talked to would try to imprison me for the quest so i had to avoid every guard like the plague because if they even so much as began to interact with me the entire city turned fucking hostile.

Lead to some amusing and fun battles, but it was a fucking pain in the ass.

I think it's kinda part of the quest. If you haven't done the 'No one escapes Cidhna Mine' quest, you'll just get arrested whenever you are in Markarth.

One of the most annoying things in the game tho, still.

Were you on PC? If so, you could probably have fixed that with a setstage command.

Nah it was when i got it for the xbox 360. Didnt get it on PC till about... 2 years ago i think.

Honestly he really didn’t. He has the right to rule Winterholm as he pleases and he killed the High King in fair combat.

But he was going to mess up Skyrim and the Empire, and he outright admits that he’ll make himself High King of an independent Skyrim regardless of whoever the Jarls actually elect.

I just think the smart move is to have the empire be as strong as it can, fucking elf hitler and his boyos are coming after humanity for a second round at some point down the line, which i really hope we can see in the next elder scrolls game, or at least the empire wins if we dont.

The Thalmor aren't Nazis. The Nazis wanted to kill select groups of people so as to "purify" The gene pool. The Thalmor want to kill everyone by unmaking Mundus so that mortals can know immortality in Aetherius.

I'd like the next game to show the next Great War too, but if it doesn't, I hope elf Hitler wins. It'll be more interesting than an Imperial victory, which is simply a return to the status quo.
