Workshop has quicker loading and MUCH faster downloading so unless all the mods I have significant interest in are on the nexus (spoiler alert there's none) i'll stick with the easy option

it doesn't take 10 minutes. you only need to load the mods once when you install them then every time you boot it up it just checks to see if they're still installed and active, if nothing has changed since your last session you can simply press the play button as soon as the menu pops up.

I haven't played since January or so. But yeah, I also switched all my mods from steam workshop to Nexus. It has a better selection.

And what about the in-game Bethesda thingy?

I feel like Falkreath is such a missed opportunity.

IMO a great feature/mod should be letting you become the Jarl of a town that you build yourself or invest in, it'd be an interesting way to make a merchant build.

I tried out Elder Scrolls Online for a bit... Have to say I'm not impressed. Never mind that it looks generic as all hell and handles and feels like a bog-standard MMO, but I cannot play it for more than a few minutes before I get bored.

I get that the free to play model is more efficient but it just makes all MMOs feel the same nowadays.

So Alduin has completely glitched in my game. Despite vanquishing him a long time ago he's still flying around near the Throat of the World. At first I didn't even realize it was him. He was so far away I couldn't tell who/what he was. I thought it was Paarthurnax or Odahviing at first, but then I saw Paarthurnax was in his usual spot and then I saw Odahviing fly by.

Then I noticed the ridge on the dragon's back. I remember then that Alduin was the only dragon with that distinct shape so I used console commands to "fly" over to the dragon to see for sure. That's when I noticed it was in fact Alduin.

So of course he immediately turned hostile and I "flew" back to the Throat to fight him. Paarthurnax and Odahviing joined me and the three of us helped finish him off. Unfortunately he was essential so that kinda ruined it.

I can’t seem to find that mod for PS4. Investing in falkreath is a great idea though. It was a missed opportunity

They don't allow external asset mods on Skyrim, same goes for Fallout 4, it's only available for PC and XBox.

My guess is it's an effort to stop any lewd mods from getting through. That's like 60% of the customer base so no wonder it doesn't sell as well on the PS4.

Anyway, I was wondering if ya'll had any mod recommendations.

No graphics mods please, I don't care about graphics XD I care more about new gameplay features, new characters, new quests, new weps and armor, etc.

Easily my favorite Skyrim mod. It adds weather and survival features. Better dress warm and carry that woodcutter's axe! And unless you're suicidal, no more swimming in Windhelm docks. The colder you get, the worse your skills and get cold enough you die (or get "rescued" if you take that option).

My current companions are Inigo of course, Recorder, and Lucien.

I find them all very charming, but Inigo holds a special place in my heart. Now if only you could have J'zargo as a companion!

Might be some third party issue they are worrying about. I know Games Workshop was originally against mods for Total War Warhammer but then relented and allowed mods to be made as long as it was strictly warhammer related content, so no overhaul mods for lord of the rings, or game of thrones or anything like that.
