I recently wrote a short story called The Storm Before the Tempest.
I wrote it for the final project of a class called Shakespeare and Media at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, celebrating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. As part of the project, the content that was made needed to be brought outside of the classroom and campus into the open world. Not liking interaction with other humans, I decided to try my hand at writing fiction and putting it on here for people to read, hopefully enjoy, and maybe even give someone more of an interest in the works of Shakespeare.
So, here is the short story, a prequel to The Tempest dealing with Sycorax and her beginnings, in dispatch form here.
If you like it, please consider an upvote so it can be exposed to more people.
I do hope you enjoy it, so please leave a comment if you have any constructive criticism, questions, divine revelations, or if you simply want to discuss Shakespeare.
Fun fact: the story itself (excluding title, end, and spaces) was 15000 characters exactly.
