I wrote a poem about a yurt

A coffee shop for those who like to discuss art, music, books, movies, TV, each other's own works, and existential angst.

I wrote a poem about a yurt

Postby Demescia » Thu Dec 01, 2016 7:55 am

The round, sturdy yurt stands free
In a wide grassy plain with not a single tree.
Tall snowy mountains overlook
And the breeze through grass makes a slight rustling sound
As a Mongolian stew slowly cooks
In a pot based on earthen ground.

That's lovely. It makes me want to escape to Mongolia. Have you been there?

From beyond horizon,
Dark clouds arise,
They bring destruction
Enjoy your demise

No, but I've read a narrative about it. When I get the chance, I'll go there on vacation; for months I've been fantasising living in a yurt.

That's pretty simple but creative. :)
