Ära Krâ is a German band I found while looking for artists simlar to Ancst. They don't really fit genre labels....hardcore, post-black, death metal and metalcore all seem present in this song.

I'm going to finish this album later.

Thrash Sabbat is awesome. One of the more underrated bands in the genre.

In other news, I just listened to Battles and then Subterranean. Holy hell. The contrast in inspiration and musical quality could not be more stark. I can't believe it's the same band.

Just got Bethlehem's new album in the mail. What a fantastic band.

On a slightly different note, I should stop spending so much money on CDs. It's quite a drainer.

Yeah. I was just surfing the internet, and all of the sudden, there's a new Bethlehem album next week. It was preordered soon after (and yes, it took a month to reach me).

Their new vocalist is fucking insane and the guitar work is excellent.

I have a feeling they'll be coming out with a new album anyways.

Why?

Their last album came out in 2014, Finland turns 100 this year and they already have Suomi Finland Perkele and Pro Patria Finlandia. That's why I think they might be coming out with a new patriotic album this year :p

I've enjoyed their album plenty but the vocals do tend to grate on me a little by the end. Small doses rather than a sit-through for me.

That's just a massive "To Be Continued" Jojo style in fans' faces. But yeah perhaps a new album.
