Seconded. Can't forget Eyehategod either.

Have not listened to Eyehategod yet, need to do that. Out of curiosity, what's their best album?

I like some Judas Priest albums.

Mildly surprised because they aren't really your type of band. They don't use weird time signatures, instruments or song structures, they just play traditional heavy metal but they play it really damn well. :p

Can't say I've listened to enough of their discography to say, but I'd probably point to Dopesick.

Their debut album In The Name Of Suffering is pretty good too. Total despair!

Picks for most generic band name? I would say Death, but I feel as though that name is iconic at this point. I'll have to give my vote for Hell.

Even more generic: Headbanger and Headbanger.

And King Of The Hill is probably your favorite anime. Good game, well played. A top tier funnyman is you!

Most generic band name, you say? Oh look 8 bands with the name Satan. No prizes for guessing what genre almost all of them are...

While it's a generic name, the NWOBHM one is excellent.

EDIT: check the one I posted, Legion, there are 41 of them.

Elder's 2020 release "Omens" is superb.

Coaltar of the Deepers have released a re-recorded version of their first album in case anyone is in the mood for some shoegaze with death metal influences.

https://needlejuice.bandcamp.com/album/ ... e-visitors

Blows my mind that the original version was released in 1994.

I actually don't care if it has weird time signatures, really. But yeah, I was surprised. I even liked the one I expected to like the least.

Their best song since the debut album. Waiting for the new one.

I really fuck with this, including the vocals honestly.

I had forgotten Evile existed. Putting them back on my radar for their new album.

Hot dang, there's a new Iron Savior album. Kickass.

EDIT: Doubly kickass: A song very clearly about Highlander.

I've been a fan of Urfaust (Dutch atmospheric black/doom metal) for quite some time now, but only yesterday has Der freiwillige Bettler really clicked for me. An underappreciated classic of the genre, if I dare say.
