It's not really metal, more industrial and darkwave but has members of Full of Hell and The Body involved as well as the producer of the latest Daughters album, but please check out the third album Caligula from Kristin Hayter AKA Lingua Ignota. She's a classically-trained singer with an amazing tone and range, and this album covers some of the darkest experiences one can imagine. As far as I can tell from her interviews, she's been through a LOT of terrible things and this is her ultimate catharsis. You can really feel it in her delivery. Easily one of my favorite albums of the year, and I've known about her since her second album in 2017 and her appearance on The Body's album last year, which was one hell of a performance too. You can also hear her on the Full of Hell album from this year.

It just happens to be so that I saw Abbath perform live during the Stonehenge festival in Steenwijk, the Netherlands yesterday. It was not exactly a captivating show, post-Abbath Immortal is probably a lot more pleasant to see and hear perform live.
