No. Gama Bomb has already made 5 best Gama Bomb albums. They are one of those bands whose every album is their best album :p

By "done right" I assume it's technical death metal of non-wanking variety. Guess I'll check it out then! And fast death metal sounds even better, I find slow death metal to be a bit boring. Which is funny because I love doom exactly because it's slow.

Comparable to Hate Eternal in certain aspects, but Italian. Rebaelliun also comes to mind.

Painkiller is pretty much everyone's favorite when it comes to the work of Judas Priest.

That true.

It's just the technicality of the guitar solos and structure of the song is what makes it awesome.

Then again, I view Priest as trend followers, but they nail it down rather than being complete copy cats.

It would be more correct to say that they Ram It Down.

I judge my favorite album by the number of songs from said album on my YouTube playlists. And the most comes from...yup, Painkiller. Though Point Of Entry is oddly second.

Ugh. I still haven't listened to all their albums yet.

Only Painkiller, half of Ram it Down, and Ripper era Jugulator.

I gotta say, I wasn't too excited to listen to any extreme/death metal, considering how nervous I am about the genre usually, but I gotta say, even though I listened to it eight months after it was released, I'm loving Ion by Portal. Great, bizarre, creative album. Many people want death metal that isn't just growls and guitars and double bass, and this album delivers.

Traumatic Voyage is quite peculiar, think early nineties death metal with hints of The Cure. I only own the album Traumatic..., but it's quite the trip.

I haven't listened to Hate Eternal and I've never heard of Rebaelliun before so that didn't really tell much. After listening to the album, non-symphonic Fleshgod Apocalypse sounds like a good description. The album was great.
