I still didn't get the new Deathspell Omega in the mail, but I downloaded it (in FLAC), and damn it's pretty good. I kinda feel Drought is better, but I should give it a couple of more spins before judging.

Like always Deathspell Omega never fails to wow me. The new album (I thought it was an EP but I guess it is a full-length, albeit a very short one) is another glorious edition to their catalog.

Personally I've been enjoying instrumental prog metal lately. Not just Animals As Leaders but stuff like Nick Johnston, Intervals, Scale the Summit, Polyphia, and Plini as well.
