I do like Batushka

By the way, I need something refreshing. If anyone knows any good music that I may not know, throw that shit at me. Doesn’t have to be metal, by the way. I’d like something that I can get hyped up by as well. Gotta stay ready for PT and learning how to hunt down the enemies of the United States.

I just haven't listened to much metal so I don't have much to talk about here.

Edit: That's not to say I'm not listening to heavy music, but it's industrial music.

Guys, is anyone familiar with Team Psykskallar and their games? Such as: Afraid of Monsters and Cry Of Fear?
Well some dude from this team named Andreas Ronnberg formed some Depressive Black Metal/Depressive Rock band named Intig.
Here's the link to their newest EP: https://youtu.be/119GCEYFKuk

Never a bad thing. You might want to check out Skin Chamber, then.

Been listening to Litourgiya lately, quite like it.

Regarding songs to try:
Metal:
Pallbearer - Foreigner
Stoned Jesus - I'm The Mountain
The Great Cold is a pretty good album as a whole
Electric Wizard - The Chosen Few. If you like that song, check out the rest of the album, Witchcult Today.
Misþyrming - Hof. If you like this, check out their album 'Söngvar elds og óreiðu'.
Mannveira - Von Er Eitur, great album.
Bathory - The Lake
Bathory - Blood Fire Death
Bathory - Ring of Gold
Mgła - Exercises in futility VI
If you haven't already, check out Burzum. 'Burzum', 'Det Som Engang Var', 'Hvis lyset tar oss' & 'Filosofem' are all great albums.
Deathcrush, by Mayhem, is another album to check out if you haven't already given it a listen.
Non-metal:
Brockhampton are great. Here's four songs I'd class as essentials, each for their own reasons.
BOOGIE, because it's a banger. Nice entry level song but still very good.
JUNKY, nice mix between personal (which is something I love about Brockhampton - they have a lot of really personal songs) but also a good 1st or 2nd song to listen to, imo.
HEAT, personal but goes hard.
MILK. Personal af.
If you wanna get into the band, this interview is definitely worth a watch. One of the reasons I like Brockhampton so much is that I almost know them, their music is meant to let you know them and it works. I'm invested in them, emotionally.

Not Brockhampton stuff:
Billy Idol - Rebel Yell
The Vapors - Turning Japanese
A few Talking Heads songs: Psycho Killer, Once In A Lifetime & Burning Down The House.
Gustav Holst - Mars, Bringer of War
Danny Brown - Ain't It Funny (great song with an even better music video)
Carseat Headrest - Destroyed By Hippy Powers
King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man, the album it's from is good in general, though that applies to most songs I've posted, though I've only stated it for a few.

I've got other stuff to do so I'll leave it at that.

As I’m sitting here blasting Bolt Thrower’s Those Once Loyal, I kinda naturally start thinking about WWI, right, and one of the coolest things I’ve ever done was in basic training: the Night Infiltration Course. In the middle of the night, in near darkness, we marched through a forest and took up positions behind a wall of ladders, sort of like being in a trench. Our M4s in our hands, our plate carrier vests fitted with bulletproof plates fastened around us, we waited for the Drill Sergeants to send us over the top.

Suddenly gunfire begins, as M240B machine guns fire live tracer rounds overhead and the explosions begin. “Over the top!” I yell at the guy in front of me, our point man, who delays in moving forward once the call goes out. I’ve been waiting for this moment all of basic training. Just wish I had a bayonet. He goes over the top first, followed by me and then a few others behind me. We drop to the ground into the prone position and begin crawling forward, as the tracers fly over our heads and flares and other pryotechnics shoot up over us from the sides. We crawl around armored vehicles, under barbed wire, and across both frozen and soft sand/dirt. Several hundred meters and we’re through, hyped as fuck but also incredibly sore from the ab workout that it is high and low crawling in all that gear without breaks.

New Judas Priest album is better than Redeemer but not as epic. Much more consistent in quality across the album.

Sounds like you need to write a death metal song about the experience :p

Tbh I probably won’t even listen to it. New Judas Priest in 2018 isn’t an idea that really excites me at all.

New Drudkh and BTBAM come out this week tho
