Speed isn't everything, as doom metal should have taught you by now. Go listen to Pentagram to set your record straight.

Ok but telling me a THRASHER the unnecessarily long melodic section of a song by RIGOR MORTIS a band that embraces the speed is better than the LIGHTNING FAST RIFFING is gulag worthy.
If i want slow music I will listen to Doom Metal or a ballad.

An album containing nothing but lightning fast riffing gets boring fast. It is important to insert at least a bit of variation.

How could you be THAT wrong? Not every thrash album needs a Metallica ballad.

A shame When the Kite String Pops isn't on YouTube, so when I get round to listening to the album I'll have to look elsewhere :(

Still, it's on Spotify so no problem there. All worth it, hopefully!

^^. I think there was a version of that on AGT once with death metal vocals - something a bit like Carcass.

Anyway, here's some powerviolence. I wouldn't have the volume too loud if I were you :p

The snare sound is on point though!

Did they recently add Acid Bath's discog on Spotify? I remember looking on there a while back and no luck. Gives me something to listen to now.

Thanks, been a while since I was on, I see a couple of people I know still active, but a lot of new people on the metal thread.

yob yob

This is actually way shorter than most of their songs, but I didn't have the time when I was listening for the usual length so had to make do with that as my starting point. Not bad.

Have some Cathedral too. The vocals kind of sound like a Lemmy rip-off if you ask me, but there's still enthusiasm and pretty much everything else makes up for it.

Today I learned that there is a heavy metal band from Phoenix, Arizona which bases its lyrics as well as its general presentation upon the beloved Simpsons character Ned Flanders. This group goes by the monicker Okilly Dokilly.

Calling the whole album metal is dubious, but this is some pretty good relatively unknown NWOBHM.
