Bouncee was definitely overleveled, but being traded helped with that and I tried not to use it too often. Kommo-o was a late swap for Little Mac the Crabrawler since the Crab loses a ton of speed when it evolves, which is why Scales was so underlevelled. She still pulled her weight, 2HKOing Probopass with Brick Break despite a huge level disadvantage. Next up, the Ultra Beasts!

Mount Lanakila was really disappointing. The only two trainers in there are Hau and Gladion.

I can't help you here, seems like I was in the minority. I actually liked Popplio but then absolutely hated it's final evolution when it was revealed. For a lot of other people there was a sense of "I knew I was right to support Popplio" which I didn't understand.

Water + fairy is bad ass type mix. Plus, I like the look of its final evolution.

Decieduey is a trapper who is very useful defensive typing wise
And Incineroar has very useful stats and a signature move that can destroy things that attempt setting up.

Yeah, my theory's always been that Nintendo wanted to avoid breeding starters as soon as the game starts and spam trading them to friends/wondertrade.
