Can't you just use a Chesto on Feliger and wake it up once it enters battle?

It's a Fangame that Nintendo banned because it was popular.
I'm training my team to challenge the seventh gym, an Ice Type I think. I was getting ready to challenge the 5th Gym earlier. I THOUGHT it was the Psychic one, but it ended up being a Fire Type. Fortunately, only one of my guys were super-weak to it. I should also note that the Psychic Gym was waaaaaaaaaaay easier.
Am I the only one who laughs whenever the PC tries to use an attack that your Pokémon is immune to?

That's actually a ROM Hack of FireRed. And considering it's still in alpha, it isn't fair to compare it to Uranium, which is mostly finished.
Also, it's called Mirage of Tales.

Magneton
Pros:
-Good offensive capabilities
-Can inflict paralysis with thunder wave or tri attack
-Electric coverage
-Will evolve and get stronger
Cons:
-Quad weak to Ground
-Only electric move is electro ball
-Ability is Magnet Pull
Bastiodon
Pros:
-Ability is Sturdy
-Very good defense, something the rest of my team isn't oriented towards
-Good defensive typing
Cons:
-Underleveled compared to the rest of my team
-Offensive capabilities are not good
-More weaknesses, including a quad weakness to Ground
-Does not evolve further
Turning it over in my head I'm leaning towards Bastiodon but I want to get some other opinions on the matter

I played way back in the day and was thinking about getting back but it seems all my old cards (if I can find them) will either be a) useless because unlimited is apparently rarely played b) nerfed to hell (trainers), or c) unviable due to power creep (pokemon). :|

Are filthy casuals a thing in the Pokémon CCG scene?
