Why else did they remake gens 1-3?

Gen 1-3 literally could not be played on the current handhelds during their remakes. Gen 4 can be played on the current handheld with no problem. The updated visuals and gameplay may be a plus, but that is of less importance to most. Just look at how happy the community was when they could finally play Gen 1 on the current handheld with VC.

Well, we needed gens. 1-2 because of transfer problems (GB games couldn't really interact with GBA games), and I didn't want a gen. 3 remake, so hey. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, you can still play gens. 4-5 on the 3DS, DS and 3DS games are backwards compatible.

It was me, GlaDIOn!

So I decided to continue my Sun playthrough, I got to the Battle Royal.

I then proceeded to get shitstomped by Totem Salazzle.

So then I thought I'd go to the Battle Royal to get stronger.

I chose normal rank...

Sent out my Dartrix, Crabrawler and Wingull...

One of my opponents had a level 50 Dragonite.

Compared to my Sun Pokémon, my Moon Pokémon are gods.

Not to mention I have many Lvl 100 Legendaries from my time in Moon.

So the League will be easy (when I get to it).

I gotta say, the Legendary birds and the Legendary beasts are probably my least favorite legendaries, Moreno the birds. They're just...there.

Currently getting close to the end of the best Nuzlocke run I've ever had, in Pokémon X. Just finished up Lysandre Labs and I've only had five deaths, two being random crap I didn't care about.
