Malazan Book of the Fallen (spoilers)

Hi everybody! I just finished reading The Crippled God. This might be my favorite series of all time, coming from someone who reads a lot of fantasy and is a hard core LOTR guy. I'm taking a break before staring the other books by Erikson and Esselmont.

What were your favorite books, characters, and scenes (if you've read them)? I think Deadhouse Gates was my favorite, super brutal, but I liked them all. Midnight Tides was probably my least favorite, I hate Udinaas.

I love Karsa Orlong.
When I realized that children were just normal people I thought it was so fantastic. He was criminally underused in Crippled God (along with Quick Ben).

My favorite thing of the entire series remains when
the three Seguleh from Memories of Ice were described as a punitive army. Best army ever.
