One time, I watched 100 episodes in a week, then I did 100 episodes in 5 days, then I did 100 episodes in 3 days. And I believe just 2 weeks ago, I did 100 episodes in 2 days, and when I don't watch, I don't watch for like a week. A pretty erratic pace, to be honest.
But yes, since I said my previous post here, I am now on 890, just starting the Wano Country Arc. Can't wait to see the animation. I've heard from spoilers and a few clips that there was a different animator, but from what I've seen, the animation can get insanely good at some points in the arc.

Ouch, that watch rate sounds familiar. I have probably watched the anime start-to-caught-up more than half a dozen times (though the first time that was only a couple of hundred episodes).
Yes, Wano has some serious animation highlights already.

On a more positive note, I've been watching Mairimashita! Iruma-kun too, and whilst nothing about it is especially original it's good fun throughout. I identify strongly with Professor Kalego.

People wanted a slice of life outside of slice of life, is my understanding. I think it really suffers from the protag lacking any serious motivation and just going with the flow. Making the show as a whole feel aimless.

I have a fondness for civilisation building fictions, and they are fairly rare (and usually dreadful) in anime - things like the awful The Master of Ragnarök and Blesser of Einherjar and the below average High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even In Another World. Compared to those, That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime is pretty good. Most of that was the first section of season 1, however.
