It’s more gay in the rebuilds. I am aware about Shinji and Kaworu as well as Ritsuko and Maya, however, Eva is far so much to me that I can tolerate this. TVTropes got sections on everything bruh, one of the coolest websites IMO

I can't speak for Laka Strolistandiler but I think it depends on the quality of writing and if it suffers on the alter of identity politics. For example:

Catra / She-ra: Completely believable couple which adds to the story. Not that sexuality has to be a plot point but if they're going to divert from canon then they should at least do a good job at it, which they have done in ths case.

Sinnerela / Netossa: token Netflixing.

Also while Bow is a good character generally, it is ridiculous and hypocritical that yet another ginger character in adapted media is blackwashed.

Never look around these forums, but I don't think it's a problem to dislike Yaoi/gay innuendo stuff in anime. I mean, apart from the exaggerations of fangirling on clearly-not-gay ones, I don't like but I also don't have any problems with that, liking or not liking won't alter my sexual orientation/option/whatever you define who you like to have se-

Just watched the first in a series of OVAs based on the 1980s manga Shonan Bakusozoku, or Bomber Bikers of Shonan. It's pretty corny but still a fun ride, pun very much intended. It's about three bōsōzoku or biker gangs, and is a fascinating little piece of Japanese social and cultural history in and of itself, given that it not only represents a particular era of animation but is also a snapshot of a period in Japanese history when these biker gangs- which have by and large died out since the '90s- loomed large in Japanese popular culture. Apparently Shonan Bakusozoku was pretty popular when it came out and helped launch the "delinquent" genre of anime and manga. I have a soft spot for the "delinquent with a heart of gold" type of characters in anime, so I was quite happy to watch a whole cast cut from that cloth being idiots for 50 minutes.

What a funny coincidence; I just watched kenny lauderdale's vid about this show, and I've been meaning to check it out myself.
I normally don't like older shows, but I tend to try out particularly interesting examples such as this one.

Anime like Pupa, Conception, Absolute Duo, Spectral Force. It's exhausting, but some of them had "so bad it's good" moments. It's sometimes just fun to hate on them, too, or they help one understand what actually makes for a good anime.

Finally "Fruits Basket: The Final''. Because I watched the original series way back when and also read the manga and scan-llations when I was unable to find the manga, finishing the remake felt like saying goodbye to an old friend. So apparently they've announced a second season for Youjo Senki, you know 4 years later AND after a movie.

Eh, Youjo Senki the anime will always feel more like anedgefest then a interesting story. The books though I think are decent. It comes across more as "I'm a ruthless capitalist and logistician, and I don't give a fuck," then teenage angst.

It makes sense though, because I think what really sells the books is the narration, and that doesn't translates well to anime.
