Some new series have recently started:

Sayonara Watashi no Cramer - Might be fun, though it is very reminiscent of Ahiru no Sora in the art style so far. In my experience, sport anime need stellar animation to really immerse me (thinks like Haikyuu and Kuroko no Basket)

Sentouin, Hakenshimasu! - Vulgar trash.

Dragon, Ie wo Kau - A bit overly fourth-wall-breaking for the level of comedy it brings, but I enjoyed the first episode overall.

My Hero Academia 5th Season - My goodness I hope this series stays good.

Mashiro no Oto - A standout first episode I highly enjoyed, though the ending was a bit much.

Godzilla Singular Point - As I said before, quirky but/and interesting.

I've started attack on titan, not sure why I thought I wouldn't like it.

Ep1 of Combatants Will Be Dispatched! felt continuously like "I'm expected to laugh at this scene but I'm not".

Some other new anime first impressions:

Shakunetsu Kabaddi - Interesting topic, could be fun. The opening made me optimistic for the series.

I Shaved. Then I Brought a High School Girl Home - Deals with some dark themes, but in a positive way. I certainly find it better than the (presumably intentionally) distasteful It's Too Sick to Call this Love.

The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime - Some lovely light slice of slime life (try saying that ten times fast).

The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent - The most promising new show of this batch for me. I very much hope that the first episode was an indicator of the quality of the series.

Well Attack on Titan's ending is fucking piss.

While I get the message Isayama was going for, the actual logic used to help convey that message makes no sense story-wise. Also, the female characters get the real short end of the stick, basically being told that "Hey ladies, abusive relationships aren't that bad, if you work hard enough he might change!" Might change.

I think it's safe to say it's like the reverse Code Geass, where pretty much the last 1/2 of R2 sucked but the ending was killer (So much so most people don't even remember how bad R2 got). Like there, all the build up sucked but the ending ruled, where as with AoT all the build up was great but the ending was a total faceplant.

I watched the clip in question, then got sidetracked in some other clips, then checked the anime website I frequent. Right at the top of the 'new episodes' list - Zombieland Saga: Revenge. As I say, I am fairly certain that I heard nothing about a new season, and have not thought about the show in quite a while. Now that is some coincidence.

I heard of truck kun from Lost Pause before this zombie isekai thing. Whenever I think of dumb memes like truck kun I think of dumb puns and lost pause from way back in 2015-2017.

No it does not, that would not cause the episode to be released. It was an amusing coincidence because the first episode happened to be released on a particular website a few minutes after I remembered the show existed. My advertisement preferences are irrelevant.

Eh, the writing was on the wall for GoT, shitty build up (Seasons 7 and 8 ) to a shitty ending.

AOT had great build up on the other hand, with shitty and rushed pay off that makes no sense in-universe and performs several feats of character assassination.

Attach on Titan is such an amazing anime! I also thought I would like it when I first started but you get into it after a few episodes. Im excited to get into the final season.
