I don't know if y'all are joking but the (almost) naked transformation scenes classify as fanservice in my book.
Seems strange how a 9th grader in a summer class I took did a presentation on her favorite anime kill la kill in financial literacy (it's was about career choices, apparently she wanted to be a actor). That time was surreal, I was basically playing realm of the mad gods everyday back then.

Is it still fanservice if you get inoculated to nudity through omnipresentness through series.

AoT, never watched it but have watched AlternateHistoryHub tell us about the worldbuilding, and how they blatantly turned Africa 180 Degrees Upside Down.

PS: it is said that people are getting crazy about AoT

Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team is probably the best "standalone" series in the Universal Century continuity, but you don't need to know much of the context.

Me, I found nobody in Kill La Kill attractive. So all the nudity came off as more comedy than fanservice to me.

Voice acting? Morbid curiosity, but did they stay on topic?

Something similar happened to me but for Code Geass. CLAMP noodle people with razor-sharp chins looked uncanny in my book, even in fanservice scenes.

We were allowed to go into our hobbies a little in the presentation, it's a summer class after all. She mainly stuck to how she is similar in personality to Mako in the series. Maybe she wanted to be a actor because of that? I didn't really pay attention.
During that time I just liked Ramen and STEM subjects. (I was still closeted about my weeb vocaloid worship stage, that just gets regulated into the bedroom)
Also, how is razor chins uncanny? The chins are susspose to be stylised so it doesn't look human so it will avoid the uncanny valley effect. Are razor sharp chins human characteristic or something?

Currently watching City Hunter Season 1 then I'm gonna jump immediately to the second season after the fifth episode.
The Avant-Gardist State of Patagonia ~~~ Gauchos and Mapuches, orgies and parties, avant-garde art, futurism, syndicalism, the New Man, general strikes, the glorification of violence, spiritual nationalism, esoteric occultism, CIA spooks, Spartanian homosexuality, public sodomy, and more
    Triomphe du Surréalisme (1968)
  • There are many things said about Patagonia but few actually know what goes on behind the Andes mountains. Tales of human depravation and man's inner darkest self run wild. A place where avant-garde culture flourish and the artist don't fear the censor. Where all live bold and free under the gaze of the Patron. Yet all dreams will come to an end soon...
  • Not expecting an essay. Just a couple of sentences that shows that you know my work well enough

Ah ok.
...
Eh, I phrased it out badly, not "uncanny", just "odd". Looking back the story is ok, it was an entertaining show, but I didn't like the style that much. I think, as a result, I also didn't register any of the CG characters as remotely attractive though there was fanservice in that show and I was like 13 years old back then. But that's just me.

Well, if the icon isn't enough of an indicator, I've been watching the Red Jacket Lupin the 3rd show from 1979. First time I can say I'm a dub supremacist...

So, been watching AOT and just reached this scene.

And uh... god damn.

And yes, I'm watching the dub. Sue me.

Goddammit just finished Hero Erwin's death hurt, but Armin's? Armin's cut super fucking deep. I'm taking a break now, too many damn emotions to handle at the moment.

Ah shit, now my dumbass made the mistake of trying to confirm his death. Ignore me. Still a rollercoaster of emotions.
