I've been watching the first season of Cells at Work! with my family; my parents are both doctors, and they absolutely geek out with all the medical knowledge that's dropped in the show.
Overall, a pretty entertaining and lighthearted show that I don't mind watching whenever I'm bored.

Don't watch season 2. It sucks ass.

And Cells At Work 2 is just over now apparently. 8 episodes. 5 of which were focused on that annoying Goddamn Normie Cell.
That season sucked. Biggest flop of a follow-up season since Aldnoah Zero.

Really? Darn, I was hoping it would get back to Red and White's everyday life. It seems like we barely got any of Red.

She was practically a secondary character this season. And that pisses me off.

IMO it's typical sports shounen. It can be enjoyable, but it's not anything special.

Oh just started that one amasing so far (2 episodes in) watched Asobi Asobase right before it and can highly recommend it great slice of life comedy show reminded me a bit about Nichijou

Read the entirety of Alice in Borderland plus Retry and Alice on Border Road recently after enjoying the Netflix adaptation of the first half of the original. As good as the Netflix series was the manga was definitely a big improvement in terms of characters and themes, and I really wasn't expecting it to go super hard with game theory concepts towards the end - the bit where a guy breaks out of Nash Equillibrium in a Keynesian Beauty Contest by getting the dumbest player to temporarily cooperate owned so hard, and the Jack of Hearts game was a really nice self-contained psychological thriller.
Retry was short but had a nice extra game, Border Road was an interesting change of pace by shifting things into full-blown post-apocalyptic (or so they think) survival but definitely wasn't as great as the original.

You lasted longer than me, I abandoned it without looking back early in the second episode. It is depressing that (supposedly) the animation studio was founded with the primary purpose of adapting that story.

loves the series.

Code Black is a thing; with another cousin we shot the shit on what the original body in
Cells at Work! was.

Me: Nah, HIV/AIDS would be a Code Black thing; cancer, on the other hand...
