Watched finally slime OVAs and started S2 and for some reason "Shion and Shuna playing dress-up with Rimuru" gags/segments made me think that Rimuru should be depicted more alternating between boy clothes and girl clothes when they're in human form out and about in general.

I thought the same! Though the outfit they ended up going with was great as well. A lot of visual media prefer to maintain consistent outfits though, for the sake of character silhouettes.

The quarantine is so bad that I'm looking forward to the Twitter shitshow that Redo of a Healer will cause, even if the anime will be garbage just like the edgefest that's the source material.

Thank you for the warning, I encountered it while browsing the other day and the (deceptive) summary page described a show I would have been very interested to watch. However, I vaguely remembered your comment, and so started the episode and skipped ahead a bit, then immediately dropped it with no intentions to pick it up again.

Anyway, I've managed to finish the entirety of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime's first season, including OVAs, just in time for Season 2. I love every single moment of it, though I admit I've been watching it more for the SoL parts rather than anything else. Can't wait for the SoL spinoff on spring!

I've been catching up on Log Horizon too, and I'm halfway finished on Season 1. Hopefully Season 1's goodness will be enough to help me slog through the crap that is Season 2, though...

Probably having something to do with not knowing japanese enough so learning phrases in romaji then just remembering titles in romaji. It's not that hard really.

Well, in my case, I just prefer the Japanese titles to the English ones. Also, since I am admittedly a patron of the "yo-ho!" method of watching anime, shows tend to get released with Japanese titles instead of English.

I know that it doesn't make sense given original CaW was/is already highly stylized take on human body functions, but there's something about CaW:B that makes it feels even more animey if that makes sense. But I guess it's due to nature of events it tries to depict or something. lol

It's great in general, but that last episode really left much to be desired, IMO. Are you up to speed?

MAPPA is going really hamfisted with the 3D, and most of the post timeskip redesigns suck.

I was thinking the same thing. Most of the enjoyment from that side so far has been in building anticipation for when the two story halves meet, but from what I understand, that is a long, long way off - not in this season, unless they really cram the story.

Where does the "corrupting seeds/jewels from magical kingdom land on Earth" schtick come from? It happens a lot in magical girl shows (Magica Madoka, Lyrical Nanoha, etc.).
