Even when put into context, this one scene from Gundam Wing is pretty funny.

Heero Yuy basically drew attention to himself in ripping up an invitation to a party that lots of people wanted to attend and threatened to kill a girl in front of everyone. If he didn't want to go, there are far better exit strategies that could be used. What happened would just leave most bystanders thinking: "no wonder he doesn't have any friends" or "what an idiot." Why even bother to enroll at that school on an undercover basis anyways, if she didn't know enough to blow his cover or had nothing in terms of proof that he was on Earth to do sabotage/terrorism?

She isn't deterred by this incident however. Nope, she wants to know him even more for some reason. Meanwhile, Heero's interactions with her are mostly negative or he's constantly trying to commit suicide- at least initially. While her positive feelings for him are mostly one sided. Its just crazy. Then again, some people are said to be irrational. No romances needed to be shoehorned into the story but seemingly was.

I love the scene where he flat out says he's going to kill her.

Hot take: Hunter x Hunter is overrated. I can enjoy it, but my enjoyment reached its peak at the Phantom Troupe Arc.

White Cat Legend.
It's an amazing Chinese anime and I have a crush on the main protagonist for the first time I watched the anime.

Its my favorite shonen and yes it gets overhyped.

Lots of people do, but he never does follow through on that. It is kind of screwed up that they get married but canon is what it is I guess. I admit as much that most of the scenes with Relena, I want to skip over. Now Zechs on the other hand, is great.

I used to watch the Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix, but they of course don’t have the whole series, I then started on MHA.

Has anybody read Claymore?I've recently started looking at this cartoon for the second time. It's set up to be seductive, a group of warriors fighting demons in the middle ages.Soldiers gain strength by implanting the devil's body into their own. They are called Great sword. As always, there is a conspiracy behind it.

You have to be careful not to fall in love with that man's comic.Nearly a decade ago, the ant chapter ended. As a result, the protagonists are still on their way to the dark continent now.Togashi Yoshihiro is a man who wouldn't draw comic if he doesn't spend all his money.

I read a summary of it before. IIRC, there's this bit of trivia that the MC's design was based on the tavern girl from Berserk.

Eurgh, I could not stand Claymore. For something supposedly about 'warrior women' it sure hammered home the idea that women were chosen because men would be far too powerful (at least, in the version I received).
Plus the writing was just terrible.

It's men who get out of control too easily. But understandably, there are many flaws in this work.In particular, all women's hairlines are very high and everyone's mouth is strange.

Eh. The Noodle People design steered me clear of it, as superficial as it may seem.

They had mouths?

In other news, I'm still watching BNA. And I'm enjoying it so far. A lot.

You're in for a treat. I watched it for the first time last year and I've been obsessed with it ever since.

I like both Misato and Rei as characters about equally so far. As to who is "best girl," I have not formed an opinion.

I will stop watching if I stop enjoying the show. A reminder that experience of art is subjective.

I saw that a few months ago myself. I still haven't decided whether or not I actually liked it, but it is definitely worth the watch.

It's been like 6 years since I first watched NGE, and while I didn't always like it, I too am very glad I saw it, partially because of how influential it is and also because it's an interesting approach to storytelling.

Your loss, bro. Just saying you could be watching something that's not massively overrated and created by a hypocritical loony.

If it's something they enjoy, it's not a loss. No more than anything else anyways.

Be that as it may, I feel it's my purpose in life to try and deter people from wasting their time on Eva. Cause that show sucks.

It's completely all over the place but the bits that do work are very good.
