Even their names were color coded. Akamatsu Yui (red), Kise Sat-Chan and (Yellow) and Aoyama Kotoha (blue).

Ah, come on. Interspecies Reviewers is how smut shows need to be. No delusions of being anything else, just shameless smutty fun.

Saiwania wrote:I came across this one infamous scene from 20+ years ago and decided to try re-watching it. I have to say, it sucks. Gundam Wing has nostalgia going for it because it was the first major Gundam series in the franchise to see an English dub but the story itself just doesn't hold up. I have no choice but to conclude that its a hot mess. The main cast doesn't really do anything important and it meanders from one scene to the next and has so many plot holes and is nonsensical for the most part.
The show has some cool Gundam designs but it reuses scenes that don't need to be reused. Very stale and boring. Drags on, and the main cast I don't like too much asides from Duo Maxwell. Zechs and Trieze (what they're doing) has more of my attention than any of the actual mains.
Giant robots of warfare are cool (for those who like that) but it has to be said that not all Gundam series are worth watching. Not all are of equal merit in terms of story. I can only recommend Gundam Wing for the lulz. It feels like something meant for 30 episodes that has made into 49 episodes instead. Awful, just terrible.

You know, if you enjoy such a thing, there's a thing some people do over on my anime forum. Called Damn That Anime Is Bad. They love watching obscure/terrible shows. Sounds like you'd fit right in.
