Angelic Layer. Enough time has passed since it was made that something like them angels can be made... but they'd prob be waay smaller and more limited. Also feel bad for 2 characters since they are hinted to die of sickness in Chobits since they share the same universe.

Future War 198X is awesome! Do we seriously need another Cold War for something like that to be made again?

Bookworm finally does some worldbuilding! Squee!

Is what I would say if it wasn’t like most anime worldbuilding-extremely poorly done.

It's definitely more fun to hate on in company.

You could do a drinking game every time something happens that makes no sense... and you'd be drunk very quickly.

Yeah, this anime is trash.

Gonna drop it. Sometimes I like to watch anime just to see how bad they are, but this one I just can't.

Something about art at the start of Eizouken made me think that had credits been written in other script and characters spoke different language it might had as well been euro(?)cartoon as a japanese cartoon.

It's directed by Masaaki Yuasa who also directed Ping Pong the animation and The Tatami Galaxy and evidently does not give a shit about the prevailing aesthetic of the day.

I've not watched Anime for many weeks or months now. I've watched parts of Dragonball (read some of the mangas too), parts of Dragonball Z, parts of Dragonball GT, some Dragonball Z/Super Movies & most of Dragonball Super (I saw the whole Tournament of Power)...all of these Dragonball Parts were seen on YouTube, I'm from England so they don't show Dragonball unless you have Sky TV and I never had Sky TV...just the cool 5-channel Sony Triniton TV from 1993 (when I was born) to around 2008. When I was a kid from around 2000-2004 I watched Digimon, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Beyblades. I've seen some of Assassination Classroom and a bit of OPM (not keen on OPM). I watched Beyblade V-Force & G Revolution many months ago (maybe a few years ago). I've seen some of the original Yu-Gi Oh, GX, 5Ds, a little Zexal, Arc-V...a lot of it on YouTube. When I was a kid, on ITV there were two things, 'Up On The Roof' and Toonattik, that showed Anime e.g. Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Oban Star-Racers. I did have a rented TV after the Sony Triniton...the rented TV was 3 or 5 channels I think, and since 2008 I have a Freeview Sony Bravia TV but I hardly watch any Anime anymore. I think the most recent Anime I saw was watching part of 1990s Lord Frieza vs Goku back in Namek on YouTube a few days ago.

From what I've seen in Jojo part 5, I think the fights rely too much on puzzles to get going. I don't mind whenever a character gets crafty, but there's a bit too much crafty.
