Some musicians that spring to mind for me include Minpha, Pitty from Morrigan, Mia from Mejibray, Lion from Fesfe[M]. Kaya, Hizaki, etc. Outside of Visual Kei, Kaoru Oshima, Aoi Kamo/Aonyan, Yuuuri15, 小A辣, Angela Lee, Re;nonリノン, Rei01181, SoU, as well as cosplayers like Nonomy, Momoharu/100hal, and some others I can't remember off the top of my head. Also, Alice Weiniang group (Chinese cosplayer group), Xiao Can, Quan Xiao Yao Nenniang, etc.

Of course, how people perceive things to be feminine, masculine, androgynous, (these things not being set in stone, for instance some things now considered feminine used to be considered masculine) etc, is probably going to be influenced by culture, society, etc...

Might be getting a bit off topic, though, and I don't think too much about the complexities of definitions and social interpretations of appearance, gender and all that stuff. I just enjoy seeing pretty people, be they male, female, whatever...

Fair enough. I don't personally see any negative connotations with people or things being seen as feminine or masculine, but that's just me, and I know others can view such things differently.

I personally wish more masculine, realistic men and women were in anime. I feel anime is at it's best when it's subtle.

Like Nichijou. No, really. While the characters are somewhat silly looking, their proportions are such that their designs seem natural and downplayed compared to a lot of other anime of it's same calibre, which makes the times when it goes off the rails all the more hilarious.

The weirdest character is the one with blue hair, and she's not even supposed to be the weird one.
